We are currently seeking applicants for a labourer/welder/all-rounder to assist in basic operations of our Construction Business.
TJS is a small Toowoomba based residential building company established in 2004. We primarily build custom steel framed homes on stumps across south-east Queensland.
This is a full-time position – Monday to Friday with the opportunity to do overtime.
Job responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
• Cutting house stumps to length based on plans
• Welding stair stringers for homes - welding experience highly regarded
• General maintenance of vehicles, trucks, bob cats and excavators – some mechanical knowledge preferred.
• Operating and maintaining machinery, tools and equipment, while reporting any issues.
• Delivering materials to job sites where required
• Assisting in unloading and loading trucks
• Performing general handyman work, including repairs and maintenance where required - Experience in either Carpentry, Plumbing or Concreting is well regarded but not necessary.
A successful applicant would have:
• A high regard to safety
• Experience in operating bobcats, forklifts and excavators
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Own transport and a valid manual driver's license.
• Be reliable and trustworthy
