Greg Cooper owned and operated Coopers Joinery for 42 years. In January 2024 Greg retired and he sold the business to Peter Kemp.
Tragically, Peter Kemp suffered a massive heart attack on Wednesday 6th November 2024. For several days, doctors tried to save him. Sadly, on Sunday 10th November, Peter passed away. As Peter was the sole director of Coopers Joinery, the business was not able to operate legally and ceased trading upon his death. All staff lost their jobs immediately. The business will not re-open. Lawyers and accountants will now handle all business affairs. This will take many months before anyone is contacted and before anything is finalised. Life can throw you a curve ball at any moment, be resilient and enjoy every day.

Today, after 16 years of working at Coopers Joinery, we said goodbye to Jaci, who is retiring. There were a few tears shed, and by more than just Jaci. Her dedication, warmth, and attention to detail have been an integral part of our team, and her presence will be deeply missed by both colleagues and clients alike. We wish her all the best as she embarks on this exciting new chapter of her life.

Thank you, Jaci, for your years of hard work, laughter, and the countless memories you’ve created with us. Your legacy will live on in the many lives you’ve touched at Coopers Joinery.

The Farmers, one of our favourite traditional style kitchens. The warm, ornate detail recalls French Provincial styles, where craftsmen began fusing the popular ‘town’ designs’ of Paris with country elements to form a visual effect that is truly unique.
