After many late nights, hard work, plenty of stress (and a few fights along the way!), Millbrook has been brought back to life.

If it wasn’t for Josh and his grit, determination and unwavering belief in what Millbrook could become, I’m not sure we would be standing here today. Watching it all come together has been incredibly special, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve created.

A huge thank you to all the incredible trades who helped bring our vision to life, and to the entire JRP team for their hard work, patience and dedication throughout the journey.

What started as a huge undertaking has become something we’ll always be incredibly proud of.

JRP Building is a family run renovation company with a strong pipeline of extensions, bathrooms, kitchens, structural renovations and full home transformations across Toowoomba.
We’re looking for a qualified carpenter or emerging leading hand who wants to take ownership of their sites, lead a small team, and deliver high quality work without the stress of chasing jobs or dealing with poorly run sites.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Running day to day site operations
• Leading 1–3 carpenters and apprentices
• Coordinating trades and suppliers
• Delivering high quality residential renovation work
• Working closely with the builder for planning and scheduling
What You Need
• Certificate III in Carpentry
• Strong residential renovation experience
• Confidence leading a small team
• Ability to read plans and run a site
• Pride in workmanship and doing things properly
What You’ll Get

✔️ Chasing supplier & subcontractor quotes
✔️ Emails & communication with clients/suppliers
✔️ Tender packs & client quotes
✔️ QBCC, QLeave & Master Builders administration
✔️ Development approvals & certifications
✔️ TAFE bookings & apprentice administration
✔️ Assisting with procedures, systems & Wunderbuild

✅ We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
• Highly organised
• Trustworthy & reliable
• Good with computers & communication
• Willing to learn new systems

Experience in administration or construction is preferred but not essential.

Millbrook Revealed - five years in the making.

The restoration of Millbrook, a state heritage-listed home in the heart of Toowoomba, has been one of the most rewarding projects we’ve undertaken at JRP Building.

From structural restoration and meticulous repairs to carefully preserving original architectural features, every stage of this build demanded patience, precision, and deep respect for the home’s history. Heritage projects require more than construction skills — they require understanding, restraint, and a genuine commitment to doing things the right way.

Bringing Millbrook back to life while protecting its character has been a labour of pride for our entire team.

A sincere thank you to all of our trades, subcontractors and suppliers who contributed along the way. Your care, craftsmanship and attention to detail have been essential in bringing this project to life. Projects like this are only possible through the dedication of great people working together.

Now, this Toowoomba beauty begins its next chapter — thoughtfully transformed into a childcare centre, ready to serve the community for generations to come.

JRP is on the lookout for a new Showroom / Commercial Shed

As part of our continued growth, we’re looking for a commercial shed or land in Toowoomba and surrounding areas, ideally on the southern side of Toowoomba, to establish our next showroom and operational base.

We’re open to short-term or long-term options.
Preference is to purchase, however we will consider leasing for the right property.

We’re ready to pay competitive rates for the right block or facility.
