As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team at the Oakey Defence Base.
Position Overview:
We are currently looking for a dedicated and experience Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team on a full time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations of refrigeration systems at the Oakey Defence Base. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong technical background and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of refrigeration systems.
2. Diagnose and repair faults in refrigeration systems as needed.
3. Install new refrigeration systems as needed.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations.
5. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
6. Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors as required.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Refrigeration Mechanic.
· Trade Qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
· Knowledge of refrigeration principles and systems.
· Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Current driver’s licence.
· Eligibility for Defence Base clearance (or ability to obtain) MUST be an Australian Citizen as per defence practices.
