This was a really rewarding project to be apart of. From start to finish we have constructed a beautiful deck area around a sunken spa for our lovely clients to enjoy. Featuring a Non Corrosive aluminium subframe from finished off with the Pioneer Blackbutt Composite Decking. This deck is completely maintenance free with a 25year warranty

Balustrade & Stairs

We completely replaced the rear balustrade and stairs on this existing deck with our H3 primed pine “Hamptons style” balustrade and Hardwood merbau stairs.

To ensure the longevity of all of our work all cuts were resealed ecoseal timber preservative, pickets pinned with brad nails and then reinforced with stainless steel screws which were filled prior to 2x coats of paint. Stairs fixed with stainless steel bugles and threaded rods and have had 2x coats of Cutek CD50. The client loved the look so much he got us to add a decorative balustrade out the front to match!

EMD Residential is currently looking for carpenters to join our team starting with subcontracting and potentially full time employment to the right person.

Current job is located in the Hunter Valley region and extending to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Upper Central Coast regions.

Requirements:
- Certificate 3 Qualified in Carpentry
- Drivers licence and vehicle to get to and from site with own carpentry tools
- Have a good work ethic
-Produce quality work & finishes
- Work unsupervised, follow direction and think on your feet
- Work along side other tradesman & apprentices
- Be competent in ALL aspects of residential Carpentry

Deck we recently completed for Luke Marshall Carpentry

Featuring 140mm merbau decking with stainless steel screws. Herringbone detail on our stairs to keep the same neat finish years down the track to avoid mitres that open up over time.
H3 treated pine frame protected with ecoseal spray on all cuts and protector deck joist protection to prolong the life of the structure. Also installed the sliding door and rekeyed into the brickwork.
