**DIESEL TECHNICIANS WANTED**
Wishart Mechanical is seeking applications from qualified Diesel Fitters with previous experience in the mining industry to become one of our long-term valued team members. Sub contractors encouraged to apply. Experience working on a variety of CAT/Terex heavy mobile equipment is essential.
Meals, accommodation, and vehicle will be provided.
With our secure work & continuance of existing work, we are looking for candidates who are keen, hardworking and a strong focus on safety.
A Current Standard 11, Coal Board Medical and a proven safe background will be highly regarded.
Skills and Experience:
• An Australian recognised Trade Certificate (Mechanical) (Diesel Fitting)
• Proven experience with a variety of Terex MTU4400 and CAT machinery, including dump trucks, wheel loaders, dozers and graders
• Experience with major components would be advantageous, including final drives, differentials, transmissions, torque converters, engines and minor components including hydraulics
• A dedicated commitment to safety and quality assurance
• Exceptional diagnostic and troubleshooting / interpretive skills
• Previous experience in the mining industry, surface operations
• An appropriate level of fitness for the demands of the role
