Who doesn't love a good before & after 📸

Tom replaced both sets of outdoor stairs with new handrails and timber treads, giving the front and rear of the home a much cleaner, more modern finish.

The timber steps catching the sun are definitely the standout on this one ☀️

We received an absolute cracker of a 5-star review from Chris after Shannon completed this job, and there was no shortage of kind words 💙

The job involved opening the wall to access and replace a faulty breech, with our plumbers taking care of the plumbing repairs before Shannon stepped in to complete the carpentry and painting work and reinstate everything back to its original condition.

But it wasn’t just the workmanship that stood out. Chris also mentioned Shannon’s communication, knowledge, attention to detail and the time she took to explain what she was doing along the way.

“Genesis, you've got a bloody superstar in Shannon. Give this woman a trophy, a pay rise, and possibly her own statue.” We’re still working on the statue… but the trophy seemed achievable 🏆😂

“Seriously, I’ve never seen that. I’ve lived here 7 years, even put the turf in myself.” 😂

The boys were called out for a blocked drain and used the jetter to get things flowing again, then sent the drain camera through afterwards to make sure everything was clear and check what had caused the issue.

That’s when they spotted the real culprit 🔍

The reflux valve had fallen out of position and was obstructing the drain. The next challenge was actually finding the access point for it, which turned out to be buried beneath layers of dirt and turf. Even the homeowner didn't know it was there 😅

A special shoutout to Sam for taking us along for the job and filming this one for us. We reckon he did a pretty great job. Show Sam some love in the comments so we can get him back behind the camera again 👏🎥

Little hands love pulling, climbing and grabbing anything within reach 🙈

Wall mounting your TV isn’t just about making the room look cleaner. Getting it up off the furniture creates a neater setup, frees up space and allows the cabling to be tucked away out of sight.

And when you’ve got little kids running around, it means fewer accessible cords to grab and a properly secured TV that’s much harder to knock or fall over.

A simple home upgrade that gives you a cleaner setup, better use of the space and a little extra peace of mind 😮‍💨

For this job, our plumbing team removed the existing food waste disposal unit and converted the kitchen sink back to a standard waste setup.

A simple change that leaves everything neat, functional and easier to maintain, without the additional unit underneath.

Our team recently completed a range of electrical and air conditioning works at this Townsville home, including new wall lights, multiple ceiling fans, oyster lights, additional GPOs and a new LG split system.
