A quick update on one of the recent jobs completed by the Vision team.

The crew carried out valve couplings and pipework installations, along with associated rigging works. The job also involved working at heights and was completed in a remote area, requiring careful planning and coordination to ensure everything ran smoothly.

A solid effort from the team, delivering a reliable outcome in a challenging environment.

A quick update on what the Vision team has been working on lately.

At the Vision Workshop this week, our boilermaking crew have been busy extending and installing timber decking and walkways, preparing for our new building to be craned in and positioned on-site. The fit-out of the new building is now underway, with the team handling the internal work in-house, along with JEG Electrical and SIC Airconditioning assisting with the installation of services.

Our boilermakers have also fabricated a new set of stair treads to replace an ageing pre-cast concrete staircase, a great example of the kind of work we can turn around on-site.

Out on client sites, the team has been carrying out roof inspections and maintenance, servicing main water line valves, and completing a repair on a leaking pipe within a bypass pit. This included replacing the stainless steel flanges and redoing the grout infills.

Thanks to the team for the effort across the board.

A massive effort from our teams this week getting everything wrapped up before the Easter break!

It’s been another busy few weeks for the Vision Constructions crew.

The boys and girls on site have been flat out finishing up our Burdekin job, ticking off works including a transformer platform, sludge transfer tank foundations, and a bunch of other concrete works to get the project over the line.

Up in Townsville, the crew haven’t slowed down either. They’ve been installing chemical dosing skids, carrying out erosion control and structural concrete works, and keeping on top of infrastructure support and maintenance. On top of that, they’ve been helping clients get ready ahead of a severe weather event, along with fabrication jobs and some upgrades around the workshop.

Back in the office, the team have been busy getting everything ready for our upcoming ISO accreditation audit.

Big thanks to everyone across the business for continuing to put in the hard yards. Solid effort all round.

North Queensland has certainly kept us on our toes this month with significant rainfall across the region, but our team has stayed focused, proactive, and committed to delivering high quality work no matter the weather.

Welcome to 2026.

2025 was a huge year for Vision. We moved into our own office, workshop and yard, doubled the size of our team, and secured a number of new clients — milestones we’re incredibly proud of.

We’ve hit the ground running in the first month of 2026, and the year is already shaping up to be just as busy. Our crews are off to a strong start, delivering projects across Townsville and the Burdekin, and continuing to demonstrate the dedication, professionalism and teamwork that Vision is known for.

We also welcomed a very special new arrival — congratulations to Jack and Zoe on the birth of their baby girl. A wonderful way to start the year.

Thank you to our team, clients and partners for your ongoing support. We’re looking forward to what 2026 brings.

Weekly wrap up ✨

It’s been another big week at Vision as our crews push to have all works wrapped up before the Christmas break. While most of the team finish next Friday for the year, we’ll still be operating on skeleton staff right through the break to support our clients where needed.

This week the team have been busy:

▫️Installing temporary pit covers using steel plates
▫️Assisting clients with site tidy-ups, pre-Xmas shutdowns and cyclone preparation
▫️Installing new lane separators
▫️Fitting toolboxes to the Hinos to keep the fleet organised and job ready, all hands were on deck for an after hours install
▫️Our Burdekin crew have been still powering on with the help this week of the one and only Lovejoy
▫️Mitch W passed his driver’s licence test!
▫️And of course — we had a great Christmas party last weekend! 🎄✨

Proud of the crew for pushing through the heat and getting the work done safely, efficiently and with good humour.
