Vision Constructions is proud to support young athletes across our community, including the SMMC Maggies Rugby League team and the Norths Devils Gold U11 Rugby League team.

Congratulations to the Maggies girls on their outstanding achievement at the 2026 ACU Confraternity Carnival, finishing in the Top 6 in Division 1 and securing their place among Queensland’s strongest school rugby league teams for 2027, while the Norths Devils Gold U11s represented their club with pride at this year’s Laurie Spina Carnival in Townsville.

Congratulations to all players, coaches, support staff and families on their outstanding efforts and achievements—we are honoured to play a small part in creating opportunities for young athletes to develop their skills, build lasting memories and achieve success both on and off the field.

Another big few weeks at Vision Constructions!

This week, Tyson and Jack had the opportunity to attend the Exercise AUSTRAL SHIELD 2026 Employer and VIP Visit Day at the Townsville Field Training Area. Tyson was able to showcase abit of what he gets up to outside of work with a live mortar demonstration and a tour of the exercise area. We're extremely proud of Tyson and his ongoing commitment to serving with the Army Reserve.

Back at home, we've officially completed another stage of our workshop and office expansion at Crocodile Crescent! The upgrades include a new conference room, a larger kitchen, and additional office spaces, giving our growing team even more room to collaborate and deliver for our clients.

Our crew has also been hard at work across a range of projects, including:
✅ Rectifying drainage issues with the installation of a new trafficable grated drain and access stairway
✅ Steel fabrication works
✅ Remedial concrete works
✅ Grounds maintenance

To top off a busy and productive week, the team is heading off to our annual mid-year function. The big question remains... Who has the better golf swing? We may have a few opinions, but we'll let the course decide!

A quick update on one of the recent jobs completed by the Vision team.

The crew carried out valve couplings and pipework installations, along with associated rigging works. The job also involved working at heights and was completed in a remote area, requiring careful planning and coordination to ensure everything ran smoothly.

A solid effort from the team, delivering a reliable outcome in a challenging environment.

A quick update on what the Vision team has been working on lately.

At the Vision Workshop this week, our boilermaking crew have been busy extending and installing timber decking and walkways, preparing for our new building to be craned in and positioned on-site. The fit-out of the new building is now underway, with the team handling the internal work in-house, along with JEG Electrical and SIC Airconditioning assisting with the installation of services.

Our boilermakers have also fabricated a new set of stair treads to replace an ageing pre-cast concrete staircase, a great example of the kind of work we can turn around on-site.

Out on client sites, the team has been carrying out roof inspections and maintenance, servicing main water line valves, and completing a repair on a leaking pipe within a bypass pit. This included replacing the stainless steel flanges and redoing the grout infills.

Thanks to the team for the effort across the board.
