Renos are a different game to a new build - you're working with what's already there, and you don't always know what you'll find until you open things up. That's where the planning earns its keep: the more you sort upfront, the fewer surprises down the track. Solid planning, good clients, smooth job start to finish.

Big one for us, this riverfront build is underway, and we've kicked things off with the pool.

Starting with the pool isn't the obvious move, but on a build this size, with this block's access, it makes sense to get it dug and sprayed before the house goes up - once it's framed, getting machinery and a pool crew into the yard becomes a real headache. Do it first and the rest of the build runs clean.
