Are you an experienced structural steel rigger with a passion for working on challenging projects? We're looking for skilled and safety-conscious riggers to join our growing team!

Position: Structural Steel Rigger
Location: Townsville (must be local, not a FIFO position)
Qualifications: EWP & Do***ng as a minimum

Job Responsibilities:
• Safely rig and install structural steel components to assist in the er****on of buildings & sheds
• Collaborate with site supervisors, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Ensure proper maintenance and inspection of rigging equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols, standards, and guidelines to maintain a hazard-free worksite.

Opportunities exist for crane operators, structural steel riggers and general hire dogman/riggers.

Applicants must possess the following:

Crane Operator
Construction Industry Blue/White card
Minimum of HR drivers licence
Ability to work safely and as part of a team

Dogman/Rigger - general hire
DG,RB or RI
Construction Industry Blue/White card
HR drivers licence an advantage

Structural Steel Riggers
Construction Industry Blue/White card
Minimum RB ticket
Must have WP ticket or willing to obtain swiftly
Must have experience with structural steel installations

Transport can be tricky at times, but when Australian Fibre and Wireless tasked us with an additional mission of getting a 20m concrete pole from Townsville to remote location on Palm Island, only one company came to mind. Massive shoutout to Kent and his crew from Nortrans Townsville for giving us the best gear in town for this job!! I bet his crew enjoyed nearly 6hrs of boat time too!! Now to get the pole in the air!!
