Reduced weight, increased departure angle. Allows servicing of the buggy without having to remove the entire crate

Had some longer steel to move this week that didn’t warrant a trailer, so that called for a quick set of racks made up to clear my solar panel and save damage.

From concept to completion, this addition has solved a storage problem that otherwise would have had large bulky items unsecured and wasting space inside this custom canopy.
This rack allows his roof topper wheels to be accessed easily, and when it’s not in use can be unbolted and returned to its original purpose as a vehicle spare wheel carrier.
