Trees with a challenge :

Today we finished a project that required three different contractors to work as one team.

The trees have grown quietly over many years however, root invasion and falling debris over time resulted in a hazard for the court users.

The area outside fence was very steep and proved to provide a challenge that we wanted to accept. ( New U17-5 performed well ).

Once the tree trunk above ground level was managed, we worked along side Blake from Gibsons Stump Grinding to expose the stumps for grinding.
Access for stump grinder machine required a platform of 1500mm wide.

Our scope was to prepare area for stump grinder, then complete a minus 125mm profile drain below top of court concrete.
Cross fall and shape for stormwater to exit at end of court.

Material removed had to be double handled from court level to second bench approximately 4 meters above the court level.

This area was then profile shaped for grounds keeper tractor access.
The mulch from grindings used to spread over final profile.

Just scratching the surface : Unit 11.

Today we begin another new project, this time with our latest Kubota U17-5. 😁

Our Elite Attachments Australia arrived midday Monday and we spent rest of the day setting up and testing. This new hitch allows attachment movement of 180 Degrees and hydraulic lock for retaining attachments.
This now allows us the capability of changing over attachments without having to leave machine.

We then returned to AllClass Townsville to top up hydraulic oil used when we added the hitch group.

The project we start today will continue over the next ten odd days, as we have another job I during this project for the U17-5 that was pre-booked before we brought the machine.

Project numbers :
25 Ton waste soil removal.
Full WiFi irrigation system.
Custom built garden beds.
45Cm3 ( 63 Ton ) Premium Soil.
400m2 Zoysia Turf.

Early starts wins hearts :

Just after 4:10am this morning our crew were underway to set up our site.
At the same time the team from Ruddzway Services Pty Ltd had made a strong start to their feature display.
Full credit with the presentation they had achieved.

Professional Pump Services & Irrigation have a dedicated employee in Alex, as he had opened the main gate well before our arrival and his effort with a strong desire to continue the benchmark standard for the day ahead.

Awesome day. Big efforts put in by so many people, reflecting how important simple things in life make great days happen.

Something old Something new Something bigger : 10 Years 😁.

Yesterday we received our latest new machine, a Kubota U17-5.
Massive thank you to the Townsville team at AllClass for their support and knowledge. This U17-5 has many advanced factory options that no other manufacturer/supplier could provide for our business.
Thank you All Class for the great video and kind words 😁.

We will be attachment building this new machine to a very high spec with a hydraulic 180* degree hydraulic lock supplied by Alex and the team from Elite Attachments Australia.

Off for sign writing in coming weeks, once we have completed a few backlog jobs.

Looking forward to having this on display tomorrow’s Open day. ☑️

Thank you so much to our clients, supporters, followers and friends.
You are very much appreciated.
Brent.

Room to move on Acreage :

One job completed this week was on acreage in Alligator Creek, as part of a new home build. We started with site visit and measurements of areas.

From information collected we were able to breakdown full costs.
In total we used 450m2 of Geofrabic cloth same product used on our roads.
Close to 85 Ton of Roadbase spread at target thickness of 100mm inside boundary line and 150mm to road edge.
18Cm3 of Top soil, with 200m2 of Zoysia turf.

The preparation included stripping the sub soil profile of organic materials, and shaping. Installing Geofrabic cloth and covering with roadbase.
Then water and compaction completed.

Learning to Fly :

This week with the support of Helipower Australia Kel and his team managed to air lift two of our machines for a 12 Minute flight to an Island project.

This helicopter was used specifically for heavy lifts, the Airbus H125, with a lift capacity of 1200kg. Fitted with a remote control latch system so machines can be released once safely on the ground at the project site.

This system allows a quick return cycle for collection of a second machine. Reducing the fuel usage of the helicopter for each trip.

Our machines were set up to fly under a sling with 3 Lt’s of fuel in Dingo K94, and 5 Lt’s in the Kubota K008-3. Both machines came in at 980kg each.
This allowed for safety margin requirements and fuel cell load weights.

Project timeline of approximately 80 odd days before they return to the mainland.

This is the third time we have had machines under a helicopter in the last two years.

Urban Density and Transportable Dwellings :

This week we worked with Jake from Harlen Plumbing to complete new sewer connection point for a transportable dwelling structure.

Our scope was carry out trench support and locate the main house sewer line to the Council mains.
This was a smooth dig, as Jake had Council plans of sewer layout.

We started digging and were exactly on point for location and in the middle of the 350mm wide dig zone.

The new sewer trench dug using 200mm bucket, once the connection junction was installed, and continued to the new dwelling at set grade.

Only problem was depth and operating width of 1100mm between house and garden shed and footings.

We were able to complete target depth of 700mm, miss the stormwater pipes and keep away from house foundation footings.

All trenches dug to profile with laser for grade, new sewer and connection point bedded and topped 150mm with crusher dust. Excess waste soil removed was taken away for recycling.

Very productive day and very well planned by Jake.

Power in Property :

During this month of August alone we completed 4 x property pole power point connection drillings and trench support.

These were from large acreage blocks to inner city developments.

Note :*We can support drilling upto 2400mm deep x 450mm diameter if Ergon rated power pole installation is required.

The four completed this month were for Ergon approved cage and rated steel pole structures tested to 1Kn and 3kn. Installed at sub soil depths of 1900mm minimum. Then 100mm boxed edge installed to keep structure mounting plate above ground.

We work with professionals, and support them to ensure future integrity.
