🍽️ You can't walk into a restaurant without checking the fit-out.

🏡 You notice the dodgy workmanship before anyone else has even taken their shoes off.

🚗 "Let's just go for a drive" somehow involves stopping at three building sites.

💧 WATERPROOFING — GETTING IT RIGHT MATTERS

Waterproofing is one of those parts of a build that you rarely see once the job is finished — but when it’s not done correctly, the consequences can be significant.

We recently completed rectification works on a home where all three bathrooms had to be completely gutted due to waterproofing failure.

Tiles removed. Fixtures removed. Substrates replaced. Waterproofing redone. Bathrooms rebuilt.

It’s a costly and disruptive reminder that waterproofing isn’t an area where shortcuts can be taken.

Correct preparation, compliant installation, appropriate materials and attention to detail are critical. Once the tiles go down, the waterproofing membrane is hidden — which makes getting it right before the finishes are installed so important.

Build it properly. Build it to last.
