New equipment has arrived on Christmas Island.

Our latest equipment delivery was transported on PRL Group’s Red Titan general cargo vessel, unloaded at the port, and driven up to site by our Mining and Haulage team.

Moving equipment of this size through the Island takes careful coordination, and we are grateful to the Australian Federal Police for helping manage traffic and road closures so it could be done safely.

Thank you to everyone involved. It is another reminder of the teamwork and local support that helps keep Christmas Island moving.

Congratulations to Farzian Zainal on her reappointment as Administrator of Christmas Island and the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.

Farzian has been a strong and engaged advocate for the Indian Ocean Territories, bringing steady leadership, local understanding and a genuine commitment to the communities she serves.

PRL Group values the constructive relationship we have built with Farzian and her office, and we look forward to continuing to work together on matters important to Christmas Island and the broader Indian Ocean Territories.

What a day out on the course! ⛳🌴

The PRL Christmas Island Golf Open brought together visitors and our community for a weekend of great golf, good company, and plenty of laughs. From the early morning tee-offs to the celebrations at the end of the round, there were so many wonderful moments shared between players, families, and the wider Christmas Island community.

A huge thank you to the Christmas Island Golf Club for putting on such a fantastic event, and to all the players, volunteers, and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make the day such a success. And of course, a shoutout to everyone who joined us at the Corona Corner 🍺 you made the day even better!

Thank you to all who attended our Community Town Hall at the CI Recreation Centre.

It was a privilege to welcome members of the Christmas Island community and share an open conversation about our journey. We value the opportunity to connect directly with the people who are central to everything we do, and the engagement and thoughtful discussion on the evening was greatly appreciated.

We look forward to continuing to build on these conversations as we move forward together.

Following a successful pilot in October last year, planning is now underway for the July and October School Holiday Programs on Christmas Island.

Expressions of interest are now open, with the program to be delivered by the Stephen Michael Foundation.

We’re excited to support a program that gives local kids the chance to stay active, have fun and connect with others during the school holidays.

There will also be opportunities for older kids to take part in the Night Fields and Sports Leadership Program.

Families interested in participating are encouraged to submit an expression of interest.
