Got an old car, ute or trailer taking up space? 🚗

If it’s been sitting in the shed, paddock or driveway for “one day” repairs… this might be your sign.

Old vehicles can often be recycled for scrap metal rather than left collecting rust. We accept a range of unwanted vehicles and can help point you in the right direction on what’s needed before disposal.

✔ Old cars & utes
✔ Damaged or non-running vehicles
✔ Rusted trailers & metal parts

♻️ Why scrap metal recycling matters for the environment

It’s more important than you might think 👇

• Reduces landfill – Keeps bulky metal out of waste sites
• Saves natural resources – Less need for mining new materials
• Uses less energy – Recycling metal takes far less energy than making it new
• Cuts pollution – Lower emissions and environmental impact
• Endless reuse – Metals can be recycled again and again without losing quality

Every load of scrap makes a difference 🌱

🚜 Farm scrap clean-up tips

Got a pile building up? Here’s how to tackle it 👇

• Sort as you go – Separate steel, copper, aluminium for better value
• Create a scrap spot – Keep one area for easy collection
• Strip out valuables – Remove copper, brass, and wiring where worth it
• Flatten bulky items – Save space on trailers and loads
• Check for hazards – Old drums, chemicals, and batteries need special handling
• Do regular runs – Don’t let it pile up too much

💡 Cleaner farms = safer farms (and extra $$ in your pocket)

🔍 How to identify different metals

Not sure what you’ve got? Try these quick checks 👇

• Magnet test – If it sticks, it’s steel (lower value)
• Colour check
– Copper = reddish brown
– Brass = yellow/gold
– Aluminium = light silver
• Weight – Aluminium is light, copper & brass are heavier
• Look for coatings – Painted or mixed materials may lower value

💡 Tip: Sorting your metals = better prices

Still unsure? Bring it in—we’re happy to help identify it 👍
