Little throwback to this outdoor area we completed. We think it came up a treat!! The timber plank tiles give the natural look but will be a lot more durable over the years, without the annual upkeep.

Xmas came early for the boys!!

Massive shoutout to the crew over at Mortimer Apparel for producing this singlet/shorts combo.

They look the goods and more importantly are comfortable whilst keeping the boys cool in this summer heat!

Finn was keen to put his pre season gym sessions to the test 💪 thoughts?

**Aesthetics Vs Functionality and Longevitity**

We recently completed a repair for a client who contacted us when they noticed the ledge in their shower had begun to “pop” and even bend the trim. This was due to water getting under the mosaic tiles.

One common misconception is that grout is “water resistant” and therefore it won’t pe*****te the surface. But being a porous product, water will in fact make its way through grout over time. In this instance, on the shower ledge, there is a large amount of grout due to the tile selection, that coupled with not enough fall for water to escape quickly, leads to this problem occuring.

We chose to use the existing wall tile as the ledge tile as there is minimal grout to soak in water and it also creates one flat plane for water to escape. Also the choose of trim is one that doesn’t allow water it sit right on the edge as there is no flat surface for water to stop.

We endeavour to have the conversations with clients around this issue by explaining the pros and cons of each decision they make. But in this situation, we will always push the client to opt for functionality and lovegevity of the bathroom and minimise the risks for water leaks.

It was an easy fix, but in our opinion, it’s a problem that shouldn’t be arising for homeowners.

** Holbrook Homestead **

This new kitchen has been given a huge boost with this splashback. 150x75 and 150x150mm laid in a random offset gives it a nice texture without being too much on the eye.

The timber floating shelves that will be installed above the kitchen sink will be a great contrast. 👌🏼

Finley, our first year apprentice, has hit a milestone and is laying his first wet area floor on his own.

It might not seem like much but Finley has really come into his own the last couple of months and is proving a real asset, especially as we ramp up into the silly season that is Xmas.

👍🏼

Another project completed for

Patterned floor tile combined with a basic 600x300 white gloss on the walls. Gives each area enough “Wow” factor without being overkill.

Tile selection can be a daunting process, but most of the time keeping it simple and using single pattern or feature is enough to give an area all the splash of creativity you need.

Recently completed farm house bathroom renovation near Wantabadgery.

Simple selections have brought this tired old bathroom a modern finish, whilst still quite rustic to fit with the rest of the homestead.

This time down in Armstrong Creek, Victoria.

Simple but really effective choices throughout this whole design. The first design and build for

On what is a small build size by standards around Wagga, the very effective use of space sets this one apart. It packs a real punch!

Loved getting a chance to work on this project 👌🏼

Always a great feeling to bring clients ideas to fruition. Even better when it’s family!

Some really classy finishes throughout this project. Neutral tones and Kit Kat mosaics to accentuate VJ Panelling throughout the build.

100x100 square on the laundry and kitchen Splashbacks bring a nice texture to each area without being too dominant.
