The boys had the pleasure of providing one of our favourite customers’ a solution to their on going power outages. They had an existing system, which was still in great condition, so we retro fitted a Tesla Powerwall2 battery.
This will give them continuous power during blackouts, and power the entire house from dusk well into the night.
Plus, the Tesla monitoring platform is just amazing and a dream to play around with 🤩

More often than not, cheaper is not better. The most expensive does not always mean the best either.

• request a site visit by the installer
• ensure that there is comprehensive monitoring with your solar
• ask for their Clean Energy Council accreditation and licence details
• choose local - our local installers are a part of this community. When you choose local, you know that they are invested in providing the best to your community

With high-risk fire and storm conditions expected for tomorrow, Wednesday 28 February, it’s important to stay informed during an emergency and never rely on one source for emergency information. Electricity and telecommunications outages may occur.

To prepare for outages, you should have a back-up plan and an emergency kit, which includes:
- a power pack that you can use to charge your mobile phone
- a battery-powered radio with a spare set of batteries
- a paper list of important numbers
- cash, as EFTPOS or ATMs may not work during large-scale connectivity outages

For the latest emergency information you can:

- Download the VicEmergency app and set up a watch zone
- Visit the VicEmergency website
- Listen to ABC radio and local emergency broadcasters.
