✨ Celebrating Two Milestones ✨
Today we’re celebrating something pretty special—20 years in business and 25 years in the plumbing industry for Nathan.
On April 13th, 2006, Nathan took a leap of faith and started his own plumbing business. We were newly married, renovating a house, and expecting our first baby… so naturally, we thought—why not add starting a business into the mix too? That’s always been our way—just give everything a go.
Nathan began his plumbing journey back in 2001, starting his apprenticeship and learning the trade from the ground up. After a few years of experience, he knew he wanted to work for himself. Growing up around Wangaratta, we were so lucky to have the support and encouragement of our wonderful families and our community behind us.
That’s how Plumbing By Pooly began. Back then, we thought it would just be Nathan and maybe one or two others, doing small renovations, reroofs, and general plumbing jobs—but we never imagined how much it would grow.
As the business expanded and the team grew, we were encouraged to rebrand—because it wasn’t just “Pooly” anymore. In 2010, with three kids in tow, we took another leap and became Plumbforce—a name that truly reflected what the business had become… a plumbing force.
Now, 20 years on, so much has changed—but one thing hasn’t: how grateful we are. We’ve been incredibly lucky to have the support of our amazing staff, loyal clients, and the trades we work alongside. We genuinely love the region we work in and the people who have helped shape this journey.
Nathan isn’t one for the spotlight, but these milestones are too important not to acknowledge, celebrate & share a few pics from the early days 🤗😂
I couldn’t be prouder of what he’s built, the support he’s given me, and—let’s be honest—the patience he’s had working alongside his wife who “just does the admin” (which we all know really means everything behind the scenes! 😜).
Working together isn’t always easy, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
We’re so grateful for the life we’ve built and our three beautiful kids.
