Cody from arktik motorsports dropped off his turbo LS R35 for a little work this week.

It was wired using a Haltech rebel ls and ic7 running the entire car with a body loom built by me a while ago now - love to see it still in great shape!

Amongst a few changes like front/rear brake light strip and a quick tidy up, we moved the isolator and printed a nice case/bracket for it so its protected and contained.

So good being able to print designs like this to tidy up installs!

With the recent popularity of the m57/n57 swaps I've been researching and gathering parts to do the swap into my px1 ranger.

The 3.2 decided it was time to go ahead after cracking a piston late last year, so here we are getting the bits required together finally, starting with the 6hp28x/8hp to ranger transfer adapter from Custom Machine Works - good bit of kit!

Its a pretty common swap in the uk but reliable info is pretty hard to come by - I'll be doing both e70 m57 6hp and n57 8hp to learn the process better and have a bit more info for those looking to do the swap here. Not really planning to do harnesses etc for other swaps as there's already plenty of good options around but may offer a harness package for this swap if theres interest once completed.

I have a wastegate lead for sale to suit an fg which came with the wiring to the fusebox - this is on most 5 speed auto and manual models.
If you'd like help confirming if it suits your car I'm happy to help with that.

The customer that ordered it decided to ghost me after I refused to send instructions without payment - just a hot tip, this something I'll never do. It's obviously a way for someone to attempt to make their wiring work with instructions I've made without paying, not happening.

I'd rather sell this incredibly cheap to someone that will use it than old mate at this point, so if its something you're after shoot me a message. Instructions will be in the box!

Have spent the past 2 days mucking around with a couple of oddball zf conversion using the zf patch loom.

1 being bf btr rtv with no traction control, the 2nd a bf3 btr wagon.

It turns out we're able to use the base file from the ecu and edit a handful of things for the zf to run happily. This simplifies things greatly with things like abs module, traction control and speedo data.

Similar oem zf files did not work in these cars due to the differences between models.

So if you have a bf3 btr wagon and want to fit a zf6 like ford should have, its a much easier process these days! As a side note, this should also work for any bf-fg egas models, very fancy.

Bit slack on socials again, will try to be a bit more active coming up!

I felt this one deserved a share, francesco did an amazing job building this wicked datto ute with a ford ecoboost engine - running one of my simplified conversion looms to suit the oem falcon ecu paired with a zf6.

Should be an awesome cruiser!

With haltech no longer manufacturing the barra 2500 terminated harness, this is something we wont really see more of...

But a pretty common mod has been repining a 2500 harness to suit s3 or r3.
In this case it's to suit r3 so no more fusebox and a much easier install for the customer.

While I was in there a bosch oil/pressure combo sensor was added as well as a complete zf6 harness along with shifter, obd2 and reverse light output. A nice long fuel pump and fan power lead is included but will be added the dtp connector once fitted for easier installation.

This really maxxes out the r3 but also covers most basic builds easily.

Lots of haltech patch looms with full btr control coming through recently which is great to see!

Here we have 2x to suit Haltech S3, one being for ed sohc with breakouts for smart coils, crank and cam sensor - this is wired in a way that works for both the standard dizzy and smart coils with no wiring changes required by the customer.

The other is for an au v8 with smart coils and a couple of extra sensors.

I know this is something I harp on about a fair bit, it's really because there's no excuse and no reason, its also somehow common across many online businesses which is kinda wild.

Please, for the love of god - send your parcels with your details (that's name and return address) on the outside. I remind you all of this plus a note inside when giving you the address.

It seems now most are sending parcels with a note inside but still a lot of no details on the outside.

With no return details the parcel is as good as dead if it ever needs to be returned and that's all on you.

As I've seen a few other businesses do, a surcharge for no details at all will be added to orders. It's not my job to chase up a home for an unnamed parcel.

If these are your parcels, they made it to me with no return details with at least a note inside, you're safe.

But let's just make it easier for everyone involved - put your details on the OUTSIDE of the parcel!

As I'm about to rip this gm ecu apart for a patch loom, I realised a cleaner workspace might allow for more progress shots on the business page stories.

I normally do them on my personal account as they're lesser effort and lesser quality with a (previously) bit of a rough background...

Is that something you guys would be interested in seeing more of?

Happy Australia day everyone!

I'm nursing a hangover from the weekend so figured I'd stay in and catch up on some messages while I'm feeling a bit fragile.

The floors are painted at the factory, will need a few more days to fully cure but at least I'll be able to focus more on work again so things will operate a bit more normal.

Lots of messages to get back to, thanks for being patient - if I dont get back to you all today will likely finish the rest tomorrow.

Enjoy your day and drink some beers for me!

Just a reminder that it's going to be difficult to get a hold of me this week, sending multiple messages and ??? wont make it any quicker for me to reply.

Still getting orders sent out here and there but everything will happen at a much slower rate.
I understand its frustrating but it's only for a few more days, then things will normalise a bit.
