✨ Designed around the way you want to live ✨

There’s something timeless about a home that gets the balance just right. Clean lines, classic details, plenty of natural light and spaces that feel effortlessly connected.

The best part of building custom? You don’t have to choose between how you want your home to look and how you want it to function, you can create both.

This living space is a great example of how considered detailing can elevate a home without overpowering the design.

The classic wainscoting adds depth, texture and a sense of timeless character, while the custom built media joinery has been designed specifically for the space. Creating plenty of storage while keeping the overall look clean and seamless.

Paired with soft neutral tones, natural timber flooring and carefully selected furnishings the result is a living room that feels refined warm and effortlessly inviting.

At Elcom Homes we believe the best homes are designed around the way you live with the finer details bringing the whole vision together.

Custom designed. Thoughtfully detailed. Built for you.

✨ When windows aren’t an option… bring the light in from above ✨

Bathrooms can often be the trickiest spaces to introduce natural light, especially when privacy, positioning or the layout of your home means traditional windows simply aren’t practical.

That’s where a skylight can make all the difference ☀️

In this custom bathroom, the skylight floods the space with beautiful natural light, creating a brighter, more open feeling while maintaining privacy and allowing the clean architectural lines of the design to shine.
It’s a great example of why custom building is about more than just choosing finishes, it’s about finding clever design solutions that work specifically for your home, your site and the way you live.

💡 Design tip - If your dream bathroom can’t accommodate a window, don’t automatically assume it needs to be dark. A strategically positioned skylight could be the answer.

Would you choose a skylight over a traditional window in your bathroom? 👇

✨ The beauty of a custom home is in the details ✨

A well designed bedroom should be more than just a place to sleep. It should be a space that feels calm, comfortable, and uniquely yours. This custom master suite combines timeless finishes, natural light, and thoughtful design to create a retreat you’ll look forward to coming home to every day.

From the warm timber flooring and crisp white palette to the elegant plantation shutters and carefully selected lighting, every element has been chosen to balance style with functionality.

Building a custom home means creating spaces that reflect your lifestyle, not settling for a one size fits all design. It’s about bringing your vision to life, one room at a time.

✨ The laundry might not be the first space you think about when designing your dream home but it’s one you’ll use almost every day.

One of our favourite custom home features? A built-in laundry chute. Designed to make everyday living easier, it provides a simple way to send clothes straight to the laundry, helping keep bedrooms and bathrooms clutter-free while making laundry day that little bit more efficient.

When you build a custom home, it’s the thoughtful details like these that make all the difference. We believe great design isn’t just about how a home looks—it’s about how it works for your lifestyle.

Would you include a laundry chute in your dream home? 👇
