An Electrifying Experience!!!
OPEN4 had a great experience working with a globally recognised electric/hybrid car manufacturer on an exciting range of FF&E projects. Our team at OPEN4 had the pleasure of contributing to the creation of stylish and functional spaces for their dealerships and temporary pop-up locations.
Project Overview: The journey began with the delivery of all products to our Open4 Sydney warehouse. From there, our interstate transport team carefully handled the logistics, ensuring that each item reached its designated location on time. Our scope included the unloading and placement of various elements such as wall panelling, counters, chairs, stools, rugs, mannequins, tables, and lighting fixtures. Our on-site installation team was dedicated to assembling and arranging these components efficiently within standard working hours.
Key Learnings:
1. Customising Wall Panelling: One of our key challenges was adapting prefabricated wall panelling to fit under varying ceiling heights. This required precise cutting and adjustments to ensure a perfect fit, showcasing our team’s flexibility and problem-solving skills.
2. Coordinated Delivery: Efficient coordination with loading docks and effective management of other trades on-site were crucial to maintaining the project timeline and ensuring smooth operations.

Sustainability and Efficiency: We placed a strong emphasis on sustainability throughout the project. All waste was responsibly removed and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner, reflecting our commitment to sustainability.

OPEN4 OPENS NEW WAREHOUSE DISTRIBUTION FACILITY IN MELBOURNE

OPEN4 Victoria opened their doors in early 2020. What a year to open with restrictions in place, project delays, project cancellations and additional safety measures. The OPEN4 Victoria team were able to embrace the challenge and have completed many successful projects.

Bring forward to mid 2022 and Chris Orchard, Managing Director could see that the warehouse was bursting at the seams with the increasing workloads - a solution was needed and fast.

Our Victorian team now have a new larger capacity home in Derrimut, the warehouse is 5000m3 of storage – 2200 pallet spaces and a bigger team.

A big thank you to our clients in supporting OPEN4’s growth in Victoria.

OPEN4 Teams love Regional Projects – this one in one of Victoria’s original gold mining towns where we were recently tasked with the delivery of a BCF retail store in Bendigo.

If you’re in Bendigo, drop past BCF to check out our works as well as getting hold of all the BCF gear you need!!!

Our customer SAPP International engaged OPEN4 Victoria for the BCF Bendigo fit out which included:

- Delivery and installation of display wall and floor racking
- Installation of change rooms
- Install bulk heads and shelving
- Removal and disposal of all packaging materials

Customer feedback from SAPP included “I was at the Bendigo store during the install and all the guys all were fantastic. Very professional and tidy and nothing was too much trouble for them.”

We continually receive great feedback from our clients and their customers. Recently the Melbourne OPEN4 installation team were tasked with the site installation of Ergotron Styleview Powered Medical Carts and CareFit Wall-mount Workstations. 2022 has been a busy and exciting year for OPEN4 with our expansion into Perth now enhancing our national project capabilities.

Our Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth branches have all been extremely active over the past 12 months with a significant increase in our warehouse footprint, transport fleet, and installation teams.

We are looking forward to a slight pause over the holiday period, before we rocket into 2023 with some major projects in front of us.

And finally, a very big THANK YOU to all our valued customers and partners – we wish you a safe and happy holiday with your families and friends, and very happy new year ahead.

Our offices will be closed from 21 December 2022 until 4th January 2023.

Bookings for the remainder of 2022 are now closed, however we are taking bookings for the first quarter of 2023.
