Last Wednesday night, the KingKira team had the pleasure of attending the Supply Nation Supplier Diversity Awards Dinner in Perth.

It was a fantastic evening celebrating the achievements and impact of Indigenous businesses from across Australia, alongside the organisations and individuals helping to create greater opportunities through supplier diversity.

Congratulations to all of this year’s finalists and award winners.

It was inspiring to see so many outstanding Indigenous businesses recognised and celebrated for the work they are doing in their industries and communities.

Yesterday, KingKira was proud to exhibit at the Supply Nation Connect Indigenous Business Tradeshow.

It was an incredible event, bringing together more than 200 Indigenous businesses from across Australia under one roof, showcasing the capability, innovation and diversity of Indigenous businesses from around the country.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by the KingKira stand for a chat.
It was great to connect with so many new faces, catch up with familiar ones, and have conversations about opportunities to work together.

On Wednesday, the KingKira team had the pleasure of attending Rio Tinto's Pilbara Buy Local event in Karratha, catching up with members of the Rio Tinto team and connecting with a bunch of other local businesses from across the Pilbara.

A big thank you to Rio Tinto for the invitation and for bringing together businesses committed to supporting local industry and regional growth.

The day didn't stop there, with the team also attending the KDCCI Business After Hours hosted by Horizon Power.

It was a great opportunity to continue conversations, build new connections and engage with the local business community.

A fantastic day spent strengthening relationships, supporting local business and connecting with industry across the Pilbara.

Last week, KingKira was proud to support the Fortescue Ironbridge NAIDOC Week celebrations by sponsoring the prizes for the site's Pool and Darts Competition.

KingKira CEO, Shane Kimpton and Fortescue Contract Manager, Michael Cullen, also had the pleasure of travelling to Ironbridge to catch up with our incredible site teams and attend the NAIDOC Awards celebrations.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with our people, celebrate the achievements of those recognised during NAIDOC Week, and reinforce our strong partnership with Fortescue.

Last Friday afternoon, the KingKira Perth team swapped the office for a little friendly competition at Prison Island and what an afternoon it was!

Split into teams, we tackled a series of fun and challenging rooms that put our teamwork, communication, problem-solving and strategic thinking to the test.

There were plenty of victories, a few setbacks, and more than a few laughs along the way.

It was a fantastic reminder that some of the strongest teams aren't just built through the work we do every day, but also through shared experiences that challenge us in different ways and strengthen the relationships behind our success.
