Q1 results are in. 📈

Here are some of the highlights from our first quarter:

✅ Iron ore shipments 46.8Mt
✅ Strong safety results with a Leading Safety Index of 142
✅ First hot metal was produced by our Green Metal Project at Christmas Creek
✅ First turbine shipments arrived for the 133MW Nullagine Wind Project
✅ More than 40 tonnes of copper concentrate cleaned and sold, using our world first arsenic removal technology

Soaring diesel bills are hitting Australian farmers this harvest, when they need support most.

They’re paying around $3 a litre, more than 50% higher than a year ago.

Our proposal is simple: don’t touch Fuel Tax Credits for farmers, fishers, truckies and small businesses, but cap them at $50 million for Australia’s biggest mining companies. They don’t need unlimited rebates.

As those companies electrify, they use less imported diesel, freeing up supply for farmers, freight operators and Australians who still depend on it.

In a global fuel crisis, that’s common sense. 💡

Cyan Ventures modelling shows diesel price rises following the war in Iran have shifted the cost advantage towards electric haulage in the Pilbara in just one year.

Less reliance on imported fuel, greater energy security and a stronger business case for electrification.

Time to get on with it.
