Developing the next generation of ’s mining professionals 🇹🇿

As part of EcoGraf Limited (ASX:EGR, FSE:FMK)’s commitment to and skills development, Duma TanzGraphite recently welcomed two final-year geology students from the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) to for a two-month internship.

During their time on site, the students gained hands-on experience in mineralisation, geological logging, trench sampling and stream sediment sampling, building practical skills as they prepare to enter the mining industry.

We’re proud to continue supporting local skills development and building capability for Tanzania’s growing mining sector.

EcoGraf Limited (ASX:EGR, FSE:FMK) is pleased to highlight the findings of "Epanko Beyond the Cost Curve: A Technical Framework for Benchmarking Natural Graphite Projects", prepared by independent consultant and analyst Mr. Patrick Chang. The study concludes that conventional industry cost curves provide an incomplete view of competitiveness because natural graphite is specification-driven and reported project costs are not presented on a directly comparable basis.

The study introduces a revenue-to-cost framework that combines normalised operating costs with estimated product value and quality factors, demonstrating that projects with similar reported C1 operating costs can deliver materially different revenues, margins and returns.
