VL COMMODORE — LINK ECU + DYNO TUNE

This beautiful VL came through the Farm Shed Performance workshop for some serious upgrades — fitted with a Link ECU, 1000cc injectors, and then dialled in on the dyno.

The results speak for themselves:

🔴 BEFORE: 235.6kW / 473Nm
🟢 AFTER: 307.1kW / 676Nm

That’s a massive +71.5kW and +203Nm at the wheels!

With the Link ECU giving us the control we need and the 1000cc injectors supplying the fuel, we were able to get the combination running harder, smoother and safer across the entire rev range.

An Australian icon with some serious numbers to match. 🇦🇺💨

🔥 2021 Mitsubishi Triton — Tuned & Ready to Work 🔥

This Triton came in for a tune, putting down a healthy 122kW and 434Nm at the wheels.

This one required the ECU to be bench tuned, allowing us to get around the factory restrictions and properly optimise the calibration before putting it back in the vehicle.

The result? Better throttle response, stronger torque and a much sharper overall driving experience.

🔥 276KW / 568NM — VE Calais 🔥

This VE Calais rolled into Farm Shed Performance after getting a BTR Truck Norris cam fitted, ready to see what it could do!

After getting it dialled in on the dyno, the result was a solid:

💥 276KW at the wheels
💪 568NM at the wheels

That’s a good result from the cam + tune combo, and pretty much where we’d call it a day with the standard converter and transmission.

Strong power, strong torque and still keeping the standard drivetrain in mind. 👌

🔥 Another Barra dialled in at Farm Shed Performance! 🔥

Felicity’s BF Falcon drift car rolled in running the factory ECU and T56 manual, ready for a proper tune.

📈 Before:
⚙️ 143kW & 285Nm

📈 After:
💥 173kW & 353Nm

That’s a gain of 30kW and 68Nm at the wheels, giving it a much stronger mid-range and sharper throttle response—perfect for keeping it on the limiter and linking corners.

Bow’s N70 Hilux hit the rollers for a tune and left a whole different beast 💪

Now making 119kW (160hp) and 405Nm — that’s a gain of 22kW (30hp) and just shy of 100Nm 🔥

She’s alive!

After some things arising in life that kept us busy and was stopping this poor thing from racing, we have pull our finger out and put her back together. Tuning to come shortly and then to see what she has this time! Stay tuned.

Josh’s N70 Hilux on the rollers 🔥

This one came in fresh off a rebuild and it’s an absolute weapon. Running ceramic coated pistons, flex 44mm gated turbo, equal length manifold, 3” exhaust, FMIC and a forward facing plenum — this setup means business.

At 25psi it laid down a solid 124kw and 420nm at the wheels 💪

Plenty more left in it too… once it gets bigger injectors, this thing is going to be a whole different animal 👀
