Not every project fits a standard product, and this was one of those jobs.

These custom asset marker posts were made for a non standard application on the Arthur Highway for our partners at Stabilised Pavements of Australia.

Built to suit the needs of the site, they’re a simple but important part of making sure roadside assets are clearly marked and easy to identify. Always good to see a practical solution out in the field.

Winter is just around the corner, making now the time to ensure roadwork sites are prepared for changing conditions. Guide posts play an important role in maintaining clear road edge definition and supporting safer navigation, particularly in low visibility, wet weather and snowy conditions.

Tranex guide posts are built for Australian conditions, including Snow GuideX Posts for snow-prone areas. With both powder coated orange and fully reflective options available, they provide a durable, high-visibility solution for winter conditions.

Preparing early helps crews respond quickly and safely as the weather shifts.

More Tranex safety solutions rolling out on site, supporting safer traffic conditions for the Kingborough community. Great to see this project taking shape alongside our partners Spectran Group and Roadways Tasmania.

These installations help improve guidance, separation and visibility for road users while keeping crews safer on the ground. Thanks to everyone involved in delivering another practical safety outcome.

Happy Easter from the Tranex team.

We hope you enjoy a well deserved break over the long weekend after a busy start to the year.

If you’re heading away, travel safe, take care on the roads, and enjoy the chance to slow down and recharge.

Wishing you a happy Easter and a great long weekend with family and friends.

Not all portable traffic lights are created equal, and choosing the right solution for your site comes down to how and where you’re using it.

When speaking with councils, government bodies and contractors, we’re often asked how the Tripod compares to the BarrowLIGHT. The top reasons they often choose our BarrowLIGHT solution include:

✔ Fully assembled & easy set-up
✔ Sturdy design (no additional weights required)
✔ Easy to manoeuvre
✔ Great visibility onsite
✔ Solar panels as standard

Not every job can be covered with a standard off-the-shelf sign.

For this job in Hobart, we supplied custom multi-message signs to manage local access during nearby roadworks.

With a road closure in place, it was important that residents could still clearly see they were permitted to enter. One clear message, good contrast and strong visibility meant drivers understood the situation straight away without second guessing.

Simple, yet very effective.

If your next project needs something tailored, we can help.

Produced on a tight turnaround, these signs supported the launch of “The Nod” road safety campaign by the Traffic Management Association of Australia.

The message of the campaign: A nod to the road crew: slow down, respect the vest.

Every day, traffic controllers and road workers stand just metres from moving traffic to keep our roads safe. Yet many continue to face speeding vehicles, distracted drivers and near misses while carrying out essential work.

The campaign highlights that road safety is a shared responsibility. Temporary speed limits and directions in work zones are there to protect the people working to keep our roads moving.

We’re proud to help support this important initiative.

Great to be part of the Municipal Works Australia Glenorchy Field Day on 25 February alongside 27 other exhibitors supporting local government.

It was a valuable opportunity to connect with councils and have some valuable conversations about practical solutions for safer worksites. There was strong interest in both the BarrowLIGHTs and Safety S.A.M., with plenty of hands-on demonstrations and discussions throughout the day.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat.

Built local, backed local and delivered nationwide. Take a look behind the scenes at our HQ in Tasmania.

In January, we shipped four sets of BarrowLIGHTs to Downer Group in South Australia to refresh their fleet. With another project coming up, they returned to Tranex for a further four sets.

From assembly and testing to shipping and after-sales support, every BarrowLIGHT is handled by our team from start to finish.

That means better quality control, faster turnarounds and a team that understands your job from start to finish.

That’s how we keep roads seen and safe across Australia.

From a pontoon to the bus stop - we do the lot.

This project at Shipwrights Point Pontoon for Huon Valley Council is a good example of the mix of work we support.

Public jetty information signage. Tick.
Line marking supplies. Tick
Parking signs. Tick.
Bollards. Tick.
Clear, compliant messaging in a coastal environment that cops wind, salt and sun year-round. Tick.

Further up the road in Franklin, we also delivered bus stops with tactiles and fencing for DCS Civil, making sure accessibility, durability and standards were all adhered to.

Two different sites, with different requirements, but ultimately the same focus: Clear guidance built to last.

If you’ve got a project coming up, big or small, we’re ready to help.

This Valentine’s Day, we’re jotting down the red lights and the green lights 🚩

Red lights:
▫️Signage that’s awkward to handle and slow to position
▫️Traffic lights that chew up time before the job even starts
▫️Gear that’s technically compliant but doesn’t suit how sites actually run

Green lights:
▫️Equipment one person can move without a fight
▫️Setups that pack down and fit into a single vehicle
▫️Traffic control that meets standards and works in day-to-day conditions

Good thing our BarrowLIGHTs are all green lights. Compliant, practical, and designed for how traffic control actually works on site.

As part of the GJI Group, Tranex came together with the sales teams from Signpac, Colorcorp, Leadify and Customology in Mt Tambourine for a couple days of learning, connection and planning.

We stepped back to look at our goals and strategy for 2026, with a clear focus on creating time and space. It was great to not only share Tranex’s strategy but also hear about the vision from the other teams.

Across the sessions, we dug into what high-performing teams really need to sustain results long term, from best-practice sales operating rhythms and leadership mindset, to building sustainable performance and having customer conversations that genuinely grow value.

A big thank you to GJI Group for the ongoing investment in its sales teams. It’s this commitment that equips us to build stronger relationships, show up better for our customers, and help them execute on their goals, now and into the future.
