This week we retrofitted battery systems to three homes in Whyalla that already had existing solar systems installed by CTI Solar a few years ago. As electricity prices continue to rise , the owners have now taken the next step by adding battery storage.

We're Hiring - Part Time Solar Labourer.
CTI Solar is looking for a reliable and hardworking Solar Labourer to join our busy team in Whyalla to assist with the installation of solar systems and batteries.
2 days per week, with the possibility of extra hours. Experience working at heights preferred. Roofing and/or electrical experience is an advantage.
White Card and Working at Heights required. Training can be provided. Current drivers licence required.

Another Goodwe ESA battery installation completed by the team at CTI Solar. We installed a 13kw solar array matched with a 33kwh battery and 10kw Inverter with blackout protection. This battery install was a bit of a challenge due to the existing sloping surface. Our solution was to cast up a concrete footing onsite to ensure a stable and level foundation that will last. The result is a clean, secure and purpose built installation that will help the customer make the most of their solar energy and store excess for when they need it the most.

Goodwe have recently released the ESA range of batteries, a modular, easily scalable all in one solution. The Inverter sits on top of the battery stack for a neater looking installation. Available in single and 3 phase and up to 48kwh of battery storage per stack. Battery back up gateway is built into the inverter to provide power in the event of a power outage. CTI Solar is proud to have completed the installation of a Sungrow battery energy storage system at Whyalla TAFE this week, supporting the training and development of the next generation of electrical professionals.

As renewable energy and battery storage continue to play an increasingly important role in Australia's energy future, it is essential that apprentices gain practical experience with the technologies they will encounter throughout their careers.

This installation provides Whyalla TAFE students with valuable hands-on exposure to modern energy storage systems, helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world application.

Last job for 2025, twin 19.2kwh battery stacks connected to a 15kw hybrid Inverter with a 17kw solar array. Nice work Mark and Jai.
