How’s this for a transformation!

Our good friends at CBS Bins sent this truck in for a few modifications including some ladders/access steps, tie down points, chain hooks, bin stops and new feet for the rear arms plus a few odds and ends to neaten up.

Then came the subject of the colour, we were asked if it was possible to come out in red to match the rest of the fleet.

Well we might be a bit biased but we certainly think it looks the part, all this transformation occurred in the space of a week whilst the truck had downtime with a driver on leave.

It has since been off to get its stickers fitted and now definitely looks the part in the well presented fleet.

It’s been a tough week at GWF, unfortunately the workshop was broken into Sunday night/early hours of Monday morning and we are honestly devastated.

We would be forever grateful if you could all keep an eye out for a heap of welding/fabricating gear coming up for sale on various platforms (gumtree, marketplace etc). We are still very much operating and are continuing to get the jobs done.

Wish we could list everything but there’s just too much unfortunately. The main/bigger items include; welders, tools, toolboxes, wedding helmets etc.

Anyway, on a more positive note.. here is a little structural package we pushed through for a local shed extension.

Happy Friday 🎉🥳

We’ve been extremely quiet on social media but super busy in the workshop. Aiming to keep you all updated with our projects over the coming weeks and months.

Apologies to those who have tried contacting us via messenger, we’ve had trouble accessing all messages but think we’ve got the problem sorted now. Thanks to those who made us aware of the issue.

A quick job we pushed through a few weeks ago. Cutting, folding and welding a couple of doors from aluminium sheet ready to be braced up and fitted by the client.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday Morning - Workshop closed!

We are heading off to Mount Gambier to complete a few jobs over the next couple of days so the workshop will be closed. We will be back onsite Friday lunchtime.

We’ve been quiet on the social media.. for good reasons though - we are so busy in the workshop and on the road.

We regularly travel to quote jobs, both big and small.

Did you know we also have the ability to weld aluminium?

A recent job that was completed for a customer - A toolbox door which came to us a bit twisted and worse for wear.

We cut, folded and welded a replacement skin whilst saving the original subframe by unpicking and straightening it

All work completed in house 🙂

✨ Before, During and After ✨

Here’s a rear bar we manufactured and installed on a Jayco Caravan to house a generator and some Jerry cans.

We also fabricated and fitted some brackets to hold the clients rear mudflats on their ranger.

This combination is now good to go for their next trip 🗺🚐
