A newly completed TV unit / bookcase, finished in Dulux natural white texture polyurethane. The house is double brick so the door to the laundry could not be a cavity slider. Solution, the sliding door is integrated into the back of the cabinetry. I am very pleased with the result, as is the client.

We currently have a position available for an apprentice cabinetmaker. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated young person to learn a very rewarding trade with a multi award winning business. Applicants would need to have completed woodwork and /or construction subjects at year 10 or above, have reasonable maths and a genuine interest in learning a very satisfying and interesting trade. For anyone too young for a drivers licence we are open to negotiation on variable working hours or a school based apprenticeship for an interim period. A newly finished kitchen featuring soft bevel doors in green sage gloss polyurethane & half lexicon gloss on pantry doors. Benchtops are Caesarstone porcelain snowdrift. Splashbacks are Reflections Le Grottelle aluminium. Black handles blend well with the black bar stools & pendant lights. We also supplied quality Bosch pyrolitic oven & cooktop. A very satisfying result, particularly if you had seen the old kitchen. The fridge is being replaced shortly, clients have decided (correctly) that you can't have a great new kitchen with an old fridge.

This is NOT the type of job I like having to do. This kitchen was left unfinished & with numerous defects by another contractor. At a cost about $4000 I have rectified all the defects and the customer now has a nice kitchen. I added reflections white marble aluminium splashbacks to add a really stunning finish. A timely reminder to people that they should be sure contractors are licensed to undertake your project.

I put the finishing touches on this kitchen & vanity today. After 40 plus years in the joinery industry, I still love doing renovations and making a big difference to someone's home in only a couple of days. This client was extremely happy and that is so satisfying to me, that's what I always aim for. Being an 80's house it's hard to do much with layout, more about maximizing the available space while working with restraints such as keeping the existing slate floor. The job features lava grey polyurethane doors, Avenso Bianca laminex benchtops and reflections Sereno aluminium splashbacks. Happy customer = happy cabinetmaker.
