Did you know? Our new two-in-one Eolis HC is brilliant where headroom is at a premium – in part because its unique configuration means it doesn't require the usual 25mm air gap to avoid condensation. The practice of not leaving an air gap is something of a radical move - with the standard requirement, under BS 5250, requiring such a gap where high resistance underlays such as sarking felt are used.

But the make-up of the Eolis HC and the configuration of the elements in the recommended build-up in a pitched roof means no such gap is required for most locations throughout the UK - and with every millimetre making a difference in a low headroom dwelling that could clinch the viability of a project. Our revolutionary new Eolis HC is not only quick to use – it ticks health and sustainability boxes too. Rated A+ for its environmental impact, it also has a BREEAM exemplary level of VOC release for indoor air quality and contains no harmful chemicals.

It’s made with 100% recyclable components and the unique structure of the Triplex technology from which it is made allows less material to be used to achieve a U-value which would otherwise require a thicker product!

Our revolutionary new BBA-certified Eolis HC is made from a technology developed over many years by our research team – Triplex. Its unique structure is created from a number of layers of reflective films, each separated by a thin layer of fibre, which means air is trapped between each section - thus boosting thermal performance.

We have some exciting news to share with you...

Introducing Eolis HC, our new revolutionary product which is going to transform the working life of so many builders and installers – especially those who work in the loft or barn conversion sector.

Eolis HC, created with our amazing new Triplex technology, is a two-in-one reflective insulation with integrated vapour barrier which reduces the number of steps required when insulating while achieving an impressive U-value and airtightness. It removes the need to cut insulation between timbers, with all the tricky and dusty cutting that entails if using PIR board.

Time trials also show that using BBA-certificated Eolis HC is at least twice as quick as insulating between timbers than PIR board. https://bit.ly/3MAwlfa
