Day three is done at the Worldskills Australia National competition in Brisbane. Here is a hopefully relieved Lochy with his project. What an effort he and the other 17 competitors have put in over the past three days!

The competition has been intense and challenging, with participants showcasing their skills and knowledge with a range of plumbing products and installations. They have all done an amazing job, with everything coming down to set out, measurements to the millimeter, and correct method and installation, all while racing against the clock. We hope they can now sit back, start to reflect on their experience, and be proud of their achievements to get to this point.

As for the results, now it's time for the judges to come in and do their thing. The results will be announced at the Closing Ceremony tomorrow afternoon (Sunday) at 2pm via the link.

Day one of the three-day WorldSkills Australia National competition in Brisbane is complete, where our team member, Lochy, is representing the Riverina Murray region in Plumbing.

Lochy advanced to the National competition after winning the WorldSkills regional competition held in August last year at TAFE NSW Albury campus. Since then, Lochy has shown remarkable commitment to training and fine-tuning his skills. His dedication and hard work in preparing for this event is something he should be truly proud of.

We were keenly watching the Channel WSA on YouTube during smoko to see how he was going.
