Here are some tips to make yourself more productive when working from home...
Your environment has a massive influence on your thoughts.
Those thoughts go on to impact your behaviors.
Learning to control my environment is the best way I've been able to control my focus.
Here are a few ideas that could help you improve your WFH productivity and your overall wellbeing.
π A height adjustable desk
Standing is great for your health, improves your energy levels, and makes you more productive.
π A comfortable chair
When you are sitting down, you want to make sure you have something comfortable with good support.
π A diffuser with essential oils
Aromatherapy can help you calm your mind and keep you focused.
π Indoor plants
Plants have a grounding effect on your mind and body. This is especially true if you're an outdoorsy type.
π Vision board
For when you are feeling distracted, flat, or defeated, you'll have something to bring you back in alignment. A corkboard with printed pictures of your goals will go a long way.
π Ambient Lighting
Light can be used to influence mood and increase creativity, so use that to your advantage.
π Books
Creative inspiration or the opportunity to learn should be only an arm's length away.
There will still be days where you won't be productive...
Days where you just can't get anything done.
Having the right working environment won't eliminate that, but it will mean you have less of them π
