Project Bucephalus Robotics - FLL and FRC

Project Bucephalus Robotics - FLL and FRC An Australian robotics group that teaches STEM and runs an FLL team and FRC team 5985 The team is currently competing in the "Super-Powered" season.

Project Bucephalus Robotics is a Wollongong-based group named after the warhorse of Alexander the Great. Responsible for the creation and mentoring of FLL teams around the world, Project Bucephalus has many years of experience running robotics activities for children in the Illawarra, Shoalhaven, and Sydney areas. The Project Bucephalus FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL) team is made up from home-schooled

children aged 9-16. They have been dubbed the Australian FLL National Champions on multiple occasions and regularly represent Australian at the International level. The Project Bucephalus FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC) team was announced in 2015, and has met with fantastic results! FRC Team #5985 is competing in the 2023 "Charged Up" season.

Get ready to grow with BIOGLOW!

In this online workshop Project Bucephalus will be sharing knowledge from 17 years of competition experience, working to improve the FLL experience for everyone. Whether you're a rookie or veteran in FIRST LEGO League Challenge (Founders Eddition), this team-run workshop will offer something to improve your season: from analysis of the "BIOGLOW Founders Eddition" Robot game to picking an Innovation Project.

APOC day 4:

The say started with the Alliance Challenge. Project Bucephalus was partnered with Robocie from Brazil. Together the Aliiance finished rank 8, making it to the play-offs.

After lunch, it was time for the Closing and Awards ceremony.

It was a win for Wollongong with the Project Bucephalus being awarded 1st Place Core Values Award and Dobby's Sock being awarded 1st Place Innovation Project.

The Unearthed season of FLL has now come to an end.

Day 2 of APOC comes to a close. After 3 robot games Project Bucephalus finished in rank 23 with a high score of 460. The night ended with a bang with the cultural night with the team performing the nutbush with Dobby's Sock and Cre8te the Future.

After the Opening ceremony, the teams meet their Alliance partners and did some fun activities together. A scavenger hunt around Macquarie Uni, practice table time and a Fizzics Science show finished the day off. Tomorrow is all the robot games.
