We're a Social Enterprise! RESINC Solar isn’t just another solar company, we’re a Social Enterprise. What does this mean? Well, the community benefits significantly from every installation that we do! Rather than being a simple for-profit business like every other solar company, we decided to contribute a good chunk of our revenues directly back into socially beneficial projects. We support severa

l great initiatives including sponsoring our Surf Life Savers, restoring eyesight for people in Indonesia and providing matching funds to community organisations wishing to install solar so that they too can benefit from lower electricity bills, but without the capital outlay. This allows our valuable community organisations to spend their funding doing good work instead of on their power bills, a benefit that will pay-it-forward for many years to come.

🔊 Soothing sounds of a solar install 🤓

Foreman Leigh from Budget Battlers was the client for a change, after doing so much for others it was his turn to have his power bill taken care of! (Of course he still had to lend a hand.)

Send this to a friend with a 10+ year old solar system…

Sometimes the older systems are still going strong and we can work with them, and other times they have come to the end of their life.

In Marks case - his system was due for replacement and the rest is history.

What Does the New “Three Hours of Free Power” Initiative Mean for Australian Households?

From 1 July 2026, electricity retailers across New South Wales, South East Queensland and South Australia will begin offering new electricity plans that include up to three hours of free electricity during the middle of the day.

The initiative has generated plenty of headlines, with many Australians asking whether it changes the value of investing in solar panels and battery storage. The short answer is no.

Game On Grant 2026 - How Community Sports Clubs Can Access Funding for Solar, Batteries and Energy Upgrades

Community sports clubs are at the heart of Australian communities. They provide opportunities for people of all ages to stay active, connect with others and build stronger local networks.

Over the years, RESINC has proudly supported dozens of clubs installing solar and batteries using a wide array of local, state, and federal grants.

Now, a new Australian Government initiative could help sporting clubs reduce operating costs, improve sustainability and invest in long-term energy resilience.

The new Game On: Teaming Up for Climate Action Program has been announced as part of Australia’s Net Zero Plan and will provide more than $35 million in funding to support community sporting organisations across the country.

At RESINC Solar & Batteries, we’re encouraging sporting clubs to start preparing now so they can maximise their opportunity when applications open.

This week's Community Hero is one of Australia's most loved charities: the Endeavour Foundation.

For 75 years, Endeavour Foundation has supported Australians with intellectual disability and the families who love them, helping people live the life they choose.

This year marks their 75th anniversary, and to mark the occasion, RESINC is honoured to be part of something pretty special.

We've installed the solar and battery system for the Endeavour Lotteries 75th Anniversary Prize Home.

A big system for a big home, and an even bigger cause!

In the garage: 50kWh of Anker SOLIX AU battery storage paired with hybrid inverters and a 3 phase EV charger.
On the roof: 24.7kW of LONGi Solar 475w panels.

That means whoever wins this home isn't just mortgage-free. They're electricity bill free, and if they drive an electric vehicle, fuel bill free too. Energy independent from day one.

Every ticket sold for the prize home goes directly to supporting the work Endeavour Foundation does every single day for Australians with disability.

It's a chance to win an incredible home and back an organisation that's been showing up for the community for three quarters of a century.

A huge thank you to our manufacturing partners Anker SOLIX and LONGi Solar for the technology powering this home, and to Jess Eva and the Today Extra team on Channel 9 for sharing the story with Australia. We'll be back next week with another Community Hero.
