Project Progress Update | Healesville

Our team at Rylah Constructions has been hard at work bringing new life to this home in Healesville, and the transformation is really starting to take shape. Every stage of this renovation reflects careful planning, attention to detail, and quality craftsmanship — and it’s all coming together beautifully.

Recent works have included:
• Full kitchen removal – dismantling the old layout to make way for a modern, functional design that better suits the space.
• Carpet removal throughout all living areas – clearing out worn materials to prepare for fresh, durable new flooring.
• Floor tile removal – ensuring a clean, level base ready for updated finishes and a seamless flow throughout the home.
• Plumbing and electrical rough-ins – completing the essential groundwork for new appliances, fittings, and lighting.
• Install new plaster – providing a smooth, clean surface ready for the next stage of works.
• New kitchen installation underway – the exciting stage where design starts to take shape, with cabinetry and benchtops being installed.

This project is progressing beautifully, and we look forward to sharing the finished result soon.

Before photos from our Wheelers Hill project

This tired old bathroom was well overdue for an update.
We removed the dividing wall at the toilet to open up the space, making it more comfortable and easier for the client to move around. The new layout will also feature a large shower, a bidet, and a sleek 1200mm vanity.

We also uncovered significant water damage in the walls and subfloor caused by a leaking shower. It’s a great reminder of how important it is to maintain silicone seals and grout in your bathrooms to prevent costly repairs.

Before & After | Compact Ensuite Renovation

This ensuite had a badly leaking shower that caused black mould behind the wall and extensive damage to the framework and subfloor. We had to strip it right back, rebuild the frame, and repair the subfloor before moving forward with the renovation.

It’s a great reminder of why waterproofing is such a crucial step in any bathroom project.
