Brandan was apart of our team a few years back, left for a year to try a new trade, then realised the grass was greener where he was and slid back into our DM”s 😂

He’s a major asset to our team shovelling sand down our mixers throat all day everyday, and perfecting his waterproofing as time goes on.

Effekts Waterproofing Pty Ltd specialises in internal and external waterproofing and screeding of high end domestic builds and unit developments mainly around the eastern suburbs and outer Melbourne.

We have a large and very loyal team of builders we look after and to continue to service the fast paced building industry we are looking for another waterproofer to join our team.

Your roll will require you to be physically fit as there is heavy lifting, bending and kneeling required. Experience in waterproofing is not completely necessary however the willingness to learn, experience the building industry and high attention to detail is an absolute must.

A full licence and use of your own vehicle at the start is required to get to site or Hoddles Creek in the morning. A fuel card and company car will be supplied once up to speed or based upon your current experience. Above award wages paid. This role is predominantly Monday - Friday 7am - 3.30pm with the option of occasional Saturday’s and overtime.

We’ve decided it’s time to show some faces around here over the next few days!

Meet Ben - Owner / Director

Ben has been waterproofing for 14 years now, with a background in plumbing of 3 years. He started Effekts Waterproofing at the young age of 21.

Interests:

Motocross, wakeboarding, surfing, mountain biking, snowboarding, hunting, or anything adrenaline related!

I enjoy renovating our property, hanging out with my wife and kids on our farm and just trying to slow down for 5 seconds.

Company goals:

I’d love to just keep continuing servicing our loyal builders, working on high end projects and developments , continue to grow and just keep it fun and enjoy the ride. Finding like minded people to work with makes all the difference!

This ensuite had the works with under screeds, full floor screed down to 10mm as we were struggling with heights due to a strip drain being used as a floor waste and the floor wasn’t set down, and then finished off with a top coat ready to be tiled 🕺

So much work has gone into this project so far with works ranging from basement drainage to below ground works, injection, UV stable membranes and negative pressure membranes. This has all been delivered on time to ensure the project keeps moving forward on schedule and there is still so much more to go ✌🏼
