Wynnum Bridge

Wynnum Rugby Club was undergoing extension and refurbishment works. The extension works extended to use part of the car park for construction. To enable the rugby club to remain open to the general public a temporary bridge was needed to be constructed across a small creek. A temporary bridge that could support up to 60t vehicle loads was crucial to the successful completion of the Rugby Clubs refurbishment works. A new temporary bridge the Mabey Compact 200 ™ (C 200 ™) provided Daniels Civil with the perfect solution. A 12 metre, prefabricated bridge was assembled on site and installed ready for live traffic within two days by a team of four people and a Mabey supplied site supervisor. The bridge was 4 2 metres wide complete with Mabey SmartEdge supplied on the truss panels, configured to provide safe crossing for general public and construction vehicles up to 60t.

Robson Civil Projects

Robson Civil Projects was contracted by Water NSW to supply a temporary bridge for their project at Ropes Creek, NSW. The current Ropes Creek Bridge was unable to safely support heavy vehicles needed for the construction vehicles as the current bridge was only rated to 16t.

A temporary bridge that could support heavy vehicle loading of a 74t CAT 740EJ Articulated Dump Truck, 130.5T Mega Tilt Float carrying BG28 Piling Rig and 100T LTM 1500-8.1 Mobile Crane was critical to the successful completion of the works at Ropes Creek.

A 15 metre, prefabricated bridge was assembled on site and installed ready for live traffic within four days by a team of four people. This bridge was craned into place. The bridge was 4.2 metres wide, configured to DSH to provide safe crossing for the required vehicles.

With standard, interchangeable components, modular steel bridges are installed significantly faster than alternatives and bear the weight of the largest vehicles and equipment.

Williams Bridge

This Mabey temporary bridge was used for construction work to replace two bridges along the Albany Highway in Williams, one at the southern end of the town over Williams River and one at the northern end over Coaling Creek. The road between the bridges was rehabilitated and upgrades were made to the intersection of Albany Highway and Richardson Road. All businesses remained open during the works and the construction works was completed in stages to minimise the impact to businesses in Williams. To allow traffic to continue using Albany Highway in Williams, side tracks for both bridges were constructed, and a temporary bridge installed over the Williams River.

Our first ABI HVR100 TS being delivered to our valued client Mavtech sheetpiling in QLD,
ABI's HVR 100 TS (top suspension) unit, all suspension parts including elastomers are mounted on top. This design makes it a lot easier to go back down the driveline if you have to pull up a sheet or two and gives overall better access to the pile in tight conditions. No loss of amplitude or force, 10Kg/m static moment, and 500 kN of force well done ABI.
