The cheapest part of a solar quote isn’t the panels. It’s the bit your sparky hopes you don’t read.
It’s the inverter brand. The warranty fine print. The “installation included” line with no install scope. The “battery ready” tag on a system that’ll cost you another $4k to actually make battery ready.
Three things to actually check before you sign:
☀️ The inverter brand + model (Google it, scroll past the sponsored reviews)
☀️ Workmanship warranty in writing — not just product warranty
☀️ Who’s doing the install (CEC accredited name, not the sales company)
If your quote can’t show you all three on one page, that’s the answer.
Second opinion costs nothing. Bad solar costs you for 25 years.
