TEKNOFEST - home to the world’s largest technology competitions - will host contests this year across 52 main categories and 127 subcategories. Now in its 9th year, TEKNOFEST continues to spotlight the bold, high-impact projects of young innovators determined to turn their ideas into reality and push the boundaries of what’s possible. Teams that pass the preliminary selection stage will receive over TRY 100 million in financial support, while teams that compete at TEKNOFEST and place will share over TRY 75 million in prizes.

TEKNOFEST 2026 will feature 52 technology competitions, including Rocket, Model Satellite, Robotaxi (Autonomous Passenger Vehicle), Combat UAV, Chip Design, the TEKNOFEST Vocational Skills Competition, Blockchain, Air Defense Systems, Financial Technologies, Unmanned Surface Vehicle, and many more. New to TEKNOFEST 2026 - compared to the 2025 competitions - are the Mining Technologies Competition, Electronic Warfare Competition, Advanced Autonomous Systems Design & Operations Competition, and the FPV Drone Tracking Competition, all open for applications for the first time.

The International University of Sarajevo hosted the Science, Technology and Innovation Summit: Opportunities for Cooperation between Türkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina, bringing together high-level representatives from government, academia, industry, and innovation ecosystems of both countries.

Organized in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, the Summit focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, technopark development, technology transfer, defense sector collaboration, and digital and AI transformation—opening new pathways for joint research, innovation, and sustainable development.

The IUS Research and Development Center, in cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, is organizing Science, Technology and Innovation Summit: Opportunities for Cooperation between Türkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina, to be held at the International University of Sarajevo on Monday, December 22, 2025, starting at 09:00.

The Summit will gather high-level dignitaries, policymakers, researchers, and institutional representatives from Türkiye and Bosnia and Herzegovina, providing a platform for dialogue on strengthening bilateral cooperation in science, technology, research, and innovation.

The event aims to foster strategic partnerships, encourage joint research initiatives, and promote knowledge exchange between academic and governmental institutions of the two countries.

Tražite li način da unaprijedite svoje digitalne, zelene ili inovacijske vještine — bilo kao MSP, student, mladi profesionalac ili start-up tim? FabLab Inovacijski Centar otvara prijave za besplatni program obuka certificiran od strane Evropskog instituta za inovacije i tehnologiju (EIT) i Digitalnog inovacijskog huba – Digital Storm, namijenjen jačanju kapaciteta poslovnog i inovacijskog ekosistema u Bosni i Hercegovini.
Program obuhvata kombinaciju online učenja, praktičnih treninga i hibridnih sesija u četiri tematske oblasti:
Rapid prototyping i digitalna proizvodnja 3D printanje, CAD/CAM, robotika, IoT, održivi dizajn proizvoda i digitalna fabrikacija.
Zelene i digitalne inovacije za MSP Resursna efikasnost, digitalna optimizacija procesa, AI alati, pristup tržištu i savremeni poslovni modeli.
Start-up razvoj i spremnost za tržište Fundraising i pitching, digitalni marketing, green branding, potrebe tržišta i priprema za investicije.
Intelektualna svojina i IP strategija Osnove IP-a, načini zaštite, IP strategija za MSP i startupe, te smjernice za put od ideje do zaštite.
Ko se može prijaviti?
• MSP iz BiH, s posebnim fokusom na izvozno orijentisana i preduzeća koja vode žene • Pojedinci: studenti svih ciklusa, mladi profesionalci i sve osobe 18+ koje žele unaprijediti svoje vještine • Start-up timovi u fazi ideje, prototipa ili ranog proizvoda
Cjelokupan program je besplatan za sve odabrane učesnike.
Rok za prijavu je 22. decembar 2025. Učesnici će biti obaviješteni o rezultatima selekcije 30. decembra, a program se realizuje u periodu januar – mart 2026.
