RC Chittagong Midtown joined the cheque handing over ceremony on 10 August 2026, 5:30 PM at Daily Purbokone Office.

We, with President Rtn. Md. Arif and team, handed over our contribution to Rtn. Jashim Uddin Chowdhury - Chief Editor, Daily Purbokone & President, Rotary District Disaster Management Committee.

5 other Rotary Clubs of Chattogram also deposited their club contributions. The funds were collected through Rotarians' personal efforts and club initiatives.

Update: Over Taka 10 Lacs collected so far.
Decision: Rebuilding 10-12 flood-damaged homes in Chattogram immediately.

This is Rotary - Service Above Self in action.

. 🌳 Rotary Tree Plantation Program 2026 🌳 Rotary Club of Chittagong Midtown

We are delighted to announce the successful completion of our Tree Plantation Program 2026 held on Friday, 31st July 2026 at Chattogram Kidney Foundation Hospital premises.

A hospital heals people, and trees heal the earth. With this vision, RC Chittagong Midtown planted various fruit, medicinal, and shade trees to ensure a clean and green environment for patients, their families, and future generations.

Rotary Club of Chittagong Midtown | Joint Board Meeting

The Joint Board Meeting of Rotary Club of Chittagong Midtown was held on Saturday, 27 June 2026 at 7:00 PM at Savoria Restaurant, Younosco Center.

Outgoing President Rtn. Ahmed Ali phf welcomed all members and expressed heartfelt gratitude for completing a successful tenure. Under his leadership, the club achieved the prestigious District Award as Gold President along with recognition for outstanding club activities. Members congratulated him on this remarkable achievement.

In a symbolic handover, he passed the presidential collar to Incoming President Rtn. Mohammad Arif. Rtn. Arif thanked the outgoing President and sought his continued support and cooperation in leading the club forward.

The evening was graced with a fellowship dinner hosted by Rtn. Ahmed Ali, along with a token of love presented to all members present. ( Rotarian Fazlul Karim, Lokman Hossain, Jahangir Kabir, SM Harunur Rashid, Engr Enamul Baqui, Engr Kamalur Rahman, Engr Farid Uddin Chowdhury, Arif Ahmed, Rahim ullah, Adv Farzana Khanam, Ahmed Ali, Jamal Uddin, Adv Subash Chowkroborty, Engr Abu Naser Nur, Shekhar Md Jobair Hossain.

The club concluded a very successful Rotary year with the dedicated efforts of his team: General Secretary Engr. Abu Naser Nur, Treasurer Engr. Farid Uddin Chowdhury, and the silent support of IPP Jamal Uddin.

It was a wonderful evening of fellowship, and we look forward to continuing our Rotary programs for service to mankind.
