The Annual General Meeting of the ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ต, ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ด๐ผ๐ป๐ด, was held on October 4, 2026, at the Engineering Faculty, University of Chittagong. Advisors, committee members, and students attended the meeting to reflect on past achievements and discuss future plans.
The meeting was attended by ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ ๐๐น๐ฎ๐บ ma'am, Counselor, IEEE Student Branch, University of Chittagong and Advisor, IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group, University of Chittagong; ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ ๐ง๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฟ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐บ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฑ sir, Advisor, IEEE Student Branch, University of Chittagong; and ๐๐ฟ. ๐ ๐ผ๐ต๐ฎ๐บ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฑ ๐๐ฏ๐ฑ๐๐น ๐๐น๐ถ๐บ sir, Advisor, IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter, University of Chittagong.
The advisors shared valuable insights on IEEE membership, professional development, leadership, research engagement, and student participation, along with plans to strengthen the branch and its chapters.
๐๐น๐๐ฎ๐ณ ๐จ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป, Chairperson of the previous committee, shared his experiences and encouraged the new committee to build on past achievements.
The meeting also marked the announcement of the new executive committee 2026-2027, which expressed its commitment to organizing meaningful and impactful activities.
Discussions were held on strengthening collaboration and planning future initiatives across the IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group, the IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter, and the IEEE Student Branch.
The Annual General Meeting concluded with a shared commitment to innovation, collaboration, and professional excellence within the IEEE community at the University of Chittagong.
