Our vision is to empower Students by creating a space to challenge themselves, and resources to make them enthusiastic for robotics and the world of innovation. We wish to improve the understanding of the students of EDU on how to work with robots in a realistic settin

g. We gradually develop new unique projects with our students and encourage them to apply their creativity in robotics. In addition, we will work hard to identify exceptional talent in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence and develop them into important assets for our university.

📢 Proud Moment for East Delta University Robotics Society
We are delighted to share that three of our senior alumni and former club members have jointly published a book titled “রোবটিক্স এর হাতেখড়ি” a beginner-friendly guide to learning robotics, sensors, and electronics.
This book is designed as a simple and practical guide for anyone interested in getting started with robotics. Along with fundamental concepts, it includes hands-on projects such as:

🔹 Fire Alarm System
🔹 Traffic Control System
🔹 Soccer Robot
🔹 and many more.

👨‍💻 About the Authors
🔹 Shubhasish Sen — Former Co-ordinator of East Delta University Robotics Society. A robotics enthusiast working with robotics and robot development since 2019. He completed his BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from East Delta University.
🔹 Zobayrul Haque — Former Session Organizer of the club. Working with robotics since 2017 and founder of the robotics learning platform Robo Biscuit. He completed his BSc in EEE from East Delta University and is currently pursuing MSc in Nuclear Engineering at CUET.
🔹 Syeda Maria Tafannum — Former Editor of the club. She completed her BSc in EEE from East Delta University and later earned a Master of Engineering Management from RMIT University, Australia. She is passionate about technology management and innovation.

Shahid Sharif Osman Bin Hadi

A courageous voice of the July 2024 movement in Bangladesh, who stood firmly against fascism and oppression.
In the struggle to protect the country from foreign dominance and injustice,
he remained uncompromising till his last breath.

Today, we mourn deeply.

Exploring the Future of Robotics & Innovation

The EDU Robotics Society visited the advanced research labs of Department of Mechatronics & Industrial Engineering, CUET, gaining powerful exposure to next-level technology and real engineering applications.

At the RAAI Lab, we experienced cutting-edge robotics firsthand UR3, SCARA Robot, TurtleBot4, an interactive Humanoid Robot and modern drone systems that showcased the true potential of robotic automation.

Our journey continued through the automation labs, where we explored PLC programming, motor control setups, sorting mechanisms, industrial simulations and the innovative CIMA platform. Each system highlighted how automation is driving smarter industries.

We also observed GPU-accelerated AI environments, inspiring us to explore deeper into machine learning, high-performance computing and intelligent system design.

The visit strengthened our technical skills, expanded our vision and energized our mission to bring innovative ideas to life at East Delta University.
Together, we move forward with passion, curiosity and the drive to build a smarter future.

EDU MechanoX Shines at Tech Fest Inter-University Robo-Soccer 2025!

EDU MechanoX proudly represented East Delta University at the Tech Fest Inter-University Robo-Soccer 2025.
Among many strong contenders from across the country, they secured a place in the Top 6, marking a proud moment for the team and the university!

• Abdullah Al Jaber — Sub-Executive Body Member

Along with this achievement, Sukanta Bhattacharjee, another Sub-Executive Body member of East Delta University Robotics Society also reached the 2nd Round in the Line Following Robot Competition at the same fest, adding another proud moment for EDU.

This milestone reflects dedication, innovation and countless hours of teamwork and hard work.

East Delta University Robotics Society recently organized a Sub Executive Body Meeting followed by a hands-on loT Project Development Workshop on November 5, 2025.

The workshop was conducted by Sukanta Bhattacharjee, a 12th semester student of the Department of EEE, East Delta University. Participants explored the fundamentals of loT and learned how to build projects from scratch under his guidance.

We appreciate the active participation of our new Sub Executive members and extend our gratitude to Sukanta for conducting such an insightful session.
