Metro Mart proudly marks another milestone with the opening of its newest outlet in Mirzapur.

The Honorable Chairman of Akij Venture Group, Sheikh Shamim Uddin, officially inaugurated the outlet with a grand ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The CEO of Metro Mart, Syed Joynul Abedin, and General Manager Gias Uddin Biswas were also present at the event.

At Akij Venture Group, the holy month of Ramadan is observed not only in reflection, but in unity and shared purpose. Held on February 26, 2026, at Akij House, our “Iftar & Dua Mahfil” brought together colleagues and families in a spirit of solidarity, tradition, and warmth, strengthening the bonds that define us as one organization.

The evening was graced by the presence of our Honorable Chairman Sir, Sheikh Shamim Uddin, and featured a warm and inspiring speech by our CEO, Sayed Johurul Alam, who emphasized compassion, unity, and collective growth during this sacred month.

The program also included a Holy Quran and Hamd–Naat recitation competition, beautifully performed by the children of our colleagues, adding a heartfelt and uplifting dimension to the gathering. The Dua concluded the evening with prayers for peace, prosperity, and continued progress for all.

Through this graceful event, Akij Venture Group once again demonstrated that it is more than a workplace; it is a family united by values, faith, and a shared vision for success here and hereafter.

রাসুলুল্লাহ সা. এর মক্কায় প্রবেশ
রমযানের প্রথম দশক পার হওয়ার পর রাসুলুল্লাহ সা. সাহাবিদেরকে নিয়ে মদিনা থেকে মক্কার পথে রওয়ানা হয়েছিলেন। মক্কার কাছাকাছি আসার পর রমযান মাস শেষ হয়ে যায়।

এই অভিযানে অনেক সংখ্যক আনসার ও মুহাজির অংশ নেন। পথিমধ্যে গাতফান, মুযাইনা ও সুলাইম গোত্রের হাজার খানেক যোদ্ধা এই বাহিনিতে যুক্ত হয়। এভাবে পুরো বাহিনীর সংখ্যা দশ হাজারে পৌঁছে যায়।

এত বড় বাহিনী নিয়ে রাসুলুল্লাহ সা. এর আগে কখনো যুদ্ধাভিযান করেননি। অবশ্য খন্দকের যুদ্ধে কাফিররা সমান সংখ্যার বাহিনী নিয়ে এসেছিল। সেসময় অন্যান্য আরব গোত্র এই বাহিনীতে যোগ দিয়েছিল। এত বড় বাহিনী মোকাবিলা করার প্রস্তুতি বা সাহস কোনোটিই মক্কার কাফিরদের ছিল না।
