The former Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, passed away on 12 July (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un). In observance of the State Mourning declared by the Government following his demise, the National Flag has been hoisted at half-mast today at the RNPL Plant Office.

A fire safety drill was recently conducted at the Patuakhali 1320 (2×660) MW Coal Fired Thermal Power Plant Project, operated by RNPL. The exercise involved firefighters from RNPL and other participants to enhance safety protocols and emergency response capability.
