Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager / Manager (Engineering Sales) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong client relationships and promoting our solar energy solutions to industrial, commercial and residential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop business opportunities in the solar energy sector.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to refine sales strategies.
• Generate leads, conduct client meetings, and present customized solar solutions.
• Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, and industrial clients.
• Collaborate with the technical team to meet customer needs.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
• Provide regular sales reports to management.
• Mentor and guide junior sales team members.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. Experience: 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in solar energy, electrical equipment or industrial solutions.
3. Skills:
• Strong technical knowledge of solar PV systems and energy solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software is a plus.
