বাংলাদেশের সরকারের জাতীয় টিকাদান কর্মসূচির (ইপিআই) চলমান কার্যক্রমকে আরও গতিশীল ও কার্যকর করার লক্ষ্যে চীনের শীর্ষস্থানীয় টিকা উৎপাদনকারী প্রতিষ্ঠান সিনোভ্যাক বায়োটেক লিমিটেডের অঙ্গপ্রতিষ্ঠান সিনোভ্যাক ফাইন্ডেশন কর্তৃক স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণ মন্ত্রণালয়কে ৩ লাখ ৮৩ হাজার ডোজ পোলিও টিকা অনুদান হিসেবে প্রদান করেছে। এ উপলক্ষে আজ বুধবার (১৩ মে ২০২৬) সকালে বাংলাদেশ সচিবালয়ে অবস্থিত স্বাস্থ্য মন্ত্রণালয়ের সম্মেলন কক্ষে এক অনুদান গ্রহণ অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়।
এতে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে স্বাস্থ্য মন্ত্রণালয়ের মাননীয় মন্ত্রী সরদার মোঃ সাখাওয়াত হোসেন উপস্থিত ছিলেন। অনুষ্ঠানে আমন্ত্রিত অতিথি হিসেবে চীনা দূতাবাসের কালচারাল কাউন্সেলর লী সাওপোং (Li Shaopeng), সিনোভ্যাক বায়োটেক লিমিটেড এর চিফ বিজনেস ডাইরেক্টর লী নিং (LI Ning) উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
অনুদানকৃত মোট ৭৬,৬১৬ ভায়াল (৩ লাখ ৮৩ হাজার ৮০ ডোজ) পোলিও টিকার চালান এরই মধ্যে ইপিআই সংরক্ষণাগারে পৌছে দেওয়া হয়েছে। যেখান থেকে পরবতীতে চাহিদা অনুযায়ী দেশের বিভিন্ন স্থানে অবস্থিত টিকাদান কেন্দ্রের মাধ্যমে শিশুদেরকে প্রদান করা হবে।
টিকা নিয়ে বাংলাদেশের এই দু:সময়ে সিনোভ্যাক ফাউন্ডেশনের টীকা অনুদানের জন্য চীনের কাছে কৃতজ্ঞতা জানিয়েছে স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী সরদার মোঃ সাখাওয়াত হোসেন।

বাংলাদেশের সরকারের জাতীয় টিকাদান কর্মসূচির (ইপিআই) চলমান কার্যক্রমকে আরও গতিশীল ও কার্যকর করার লক্ষ্যে চীনের শীর্ষস্থানীয় টিকা উৎপাদনকারী প্রতিষ্ঠান সিনোভ্যাক বায়োটেক লিমিটেডের অঙ্গপ্রতিষ্ঠান সিনোভ্যাক ফাইন্ডেশন কর্তৃক স্বাস্থ্য ও পরিবার কল্যাণ মন্ত্রণালয়কে ৩ লাখ ৮৩ হাজার ডোজ পোলিও টিকা অনুদান হিসেবে প্রদান করেছে। এ উপলক্ষে আজ বুধবার (১৩ মে ২০২৬) সকালে বাংলাদেশ সচিবালয়ে অবস্থিত স্বাস্থ্য মন্ত্রণালয়ের সম্মেলন কক্ষে এক অনুদান গ্রহণ অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়।

এতে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে স্বাস্থ্য মন্ত্রণালয়ের মাননীয় মন্ত্রী সরদার মোঃ সাখাওয়াত হোসেন উপস্থিত ছিলেন। অনুষ্ঠানে আমন্ত্রিত অতিথি হিসেবে চীনা দূতাবাসের কালচারাল কাউন্সেলর লী সাওপোং (Li Shaopeng), সিনোভ্যাক বায়োটেক লিমিটেড এর চিফ বিজনেস ডাইরেক্টর লী নিং (LI Ning) উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

অনুদানকৃত মোট ৭৬,৬১৬ ভায়াল (৩ লাখ ৮৩ হাজার ৮০ ডোজ) পোলিও টিকার চালান এরই মধ্যে ইপিআই সংরক্ষণাগারে পৌছে দেওয়া হয়েছে। যেখান থেকে পরবতীতে চাহিদা অনুযায়ী দেশের বিভিন্ন স্থানে অবস্থিত টিকাদান কেন্দ্রের মাধ্যমে শিশুদেরকে প্রদান করা হবে।
টিকা নিয়ে বাংলাদেশের এই দু:সময়ে সিনোভ্যাক ফাউন্ডেশনের টীকা অনুদানের জন্য চীনের কাছে কৃতজ্ঞতা জানিয়েছে স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রী সরদার মোঃ সাখাওয়াত হোসেন।
