Technovation
Technovation is the signature event of the NSU ACM Student Chapter. We have organized it previously in 2018. We would like to replicate the success of that event through Technovation 2.0. As a mega-event, Technovation 2.0 will encompass all aspects of computer science and electrical engineering fields. Students will be able to demonstrate their knowledge and skills through a wide array of activities over 4 days. Technovation will not only provide a way for students to demonstrate their skills but will also enhance the reputation and prestige of North South University as a whole. It will uplift the position of our institution to compete with others in the field of computer science and engineering at the highest level. Technovation 2018 held from 22nd to 24th February which was a very successful event. During these three days, over 800 contestants from 37 different universities participated in Technovation ‘18. The event contained six different types of contests: Hackathon, IT Business Challenge, Gaming Contest, Robo F1, Megabots and App Development. The second and third days of Technovation were capped by a closing ceremony and gala dinner. The event was sponsored by PFEC Global(gold sponsor ) and Social Islami Bank Ltd(silver sponsor). NSU ACM SC also partnered with MAT Photography for Photography, TicketChaifor ticketing, InfoLink for Internet, ASUS for Gaming, and Radio Foorti, Jamuna TV and Daily Sun for news and media.
