AUST Innovation & Design Club, widely known as "AUST IDC", is the ๐—ณ๐—ถ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—ง๐—ฒ๐—ฐ๐—ต-๐—•๐—ถ๐˜‡ ๐—–๐—น๐˜‚๐—ฏ established in Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology (AUST), Dhaka. Since Spring 2017, it has been considered as ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฏ๐—ถ๐—ด๐—ด๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—บ๐—ผ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐˜ ๐—ฐ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐˜€๐˜๐˜‚๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐˜๐˜€โ€™ ๐—ฐ๐—น๐˜‚๐—ฏ in the university premise. The Club also carries a massive brand value across & beyond the country.

AUST IDC has always focused on quality building rather than increasing the numbers only. Yet, within the 3 and a half year of struggling, as of January 2021, IDC has organized 65+ events which include Technical Workshop, Skill Development Training Program, Informative Seminar, Intra-AUST Studentsโ€™ Contests, Inter-University/International Competitions and many more while also engaging with the prominent industries and multi-national companies as valuable partners into these all! AUST IDC has been organizing its flagship event called โ€˜๐— ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฆ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ธ๐˜€โ€™ since 2019, keeping โ€œIdeation into Existenceโ€ into the tagline. AUST IDC has an Official Discord Server to share knowledge by following one-to-one & one-to-many process. Our members mostly focus on Computer Programming, Web Development, Automobiles, Mechanics, Architectural Design, Circuit Design, Civil Drawing, CAD Design, Innovative Business Idea, Robotics, Textile Technology, Game Development, and Graphic Arts. Students from any department/semester can haul a life-time club membership by paying a fee of not more than 100 BDT!

Grateful to our Official Social Media News Partner, InfoGram, for showcasing the journey of Mindsparks'26.

MindSparksโ€™26, a two-day technology and business competition, concluded at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology on July 5 after bringing together hundreds of participants from universities across Bangladesh. Organised by the AUST Innovation and Design Club and presented by SheSTEM, the event featured engineering, technology, business and innovation challenges with a prize pool exceeding Tk 200,000.

The competition included the Truss Challenge, Soccer Bot, TechnoCAD, Business Case, Poster Pitch, Project Showcase and AdSprint Final Round. AUST Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Ashraful Hoque attended the closing ceremony as chief guest and highlighted the importance of innovation, interdisciplinary collaboration and practical problem-solving. The event was powered by TSCL and supported by a wide network of sponsors and partners.

It is with deep sorrow that the ๐€๐”๐’๐“ ๐ˆ๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฏ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง & ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐ง ๐‚๐ฅ๐ฎ๐› announces the passing of ๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ. ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐Œ. ๐‡. ๐Š๐ก๐š๐ง, the founding Vice-Chancellor of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and former Vice-Chancellor of BUET.

Prof. Dr. M. H. Khan was a remarkable educator and a visionary who dedicated his life to the advancement of engineering education in Bangladesh. His guidance, leadership, and contributions have inspired countless students and professionals, and his legacy will continue to live on through the generations he helped shape.

We express our heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, colleagues, and everyone mourning this great loss. May Almighty Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, bless him with eternal peace, and grant him the highest place in Jannatul Ferdous.
