They operate with the motto, ‘Advancing Technology for Humanity’.IEEE ISTT Student Branch got its international approval on 2nd October 2017 with a hope towards innovation and inspiration. It was a huge achievement for us to get a chance to be a part of the world’s largest technical, professional organizations. We celebrated the

International IEEE day 2017 on our main campus on 17th October 2017 with a festive environment. Our Aspiring members volunteered at their best to make it a success. We continue to design programs and projects that keep students interested in the Branch and its activities. Active participation in regional conferences, workshops, and competitions, development of leadership, interpersonal and networking skills, all these made us be closer, united and confident more than ever. Attending an IEEE event can be effective & impactful for all. We are trying not only to organizes events but be a part of other’s initiatives by participating and collaborating.

21st February International Mother Language Day is a day of deep pride, remembrance, and honor for our nation. On this historic day, we pay heartfelt tribute to the brave language martyrs who sacrificed their lives in 1952 to protect the dignity of our mother tongue, Bangla.

Recognized globally by UNESCO as International Mother Language Day, this day reminds us of the importance of linguistic diversity, cultural identity, and the power of language in shaping knowledge and innovation.

As IEEE ISTT Student Branch and IEEE ISTT Student Branch IEEE ISTT SB WIE Affinity Group we honor the spirit of Ekushey by promoting education, inclusivity, and empowerment through technology while respecting and preserving our linguistic heritage.

✨ IEEE ISTT Student Branch at ICCIT 2025 ✨

We are proud to share that our Chairperson, Abdul Ahad, had the privilege of serving as a Session Host at the 28th International Conference on Computer and Information Technology (ICCIT 2025), representing the IEEE ISTT Student Branch with honor.

Moderating sessions where researchers presented their work across diverse topics was truly inspiring. This remarkable opportunity not only enriched academic perspectives but also enabled strong connections with Renowned IEEE Student Branch Chairs across Bangladesh, Distinguished professors and respected department heads, Eminent leaders in the IEEE community.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the IEEE Bangladesh Section for organizing this prestigious platform, which continues to foster collaboration, innovation, and excellence across academia and industry.

Special thanks to all the Student Branch Chairpersons who were part of this journey and contributed to making ICCIT 2025 a truly memorable and impactful event.

Today,IEEE in collaboration with IEEE ISTT WIE Affinity group proudly celebrated IEEE Day 2025 with a meaningful cake cutting ceremony and engaging discussions, bringing together our ExCom members, volunteers, advisors, and mentors.

The event was honored by the presence of our esteemed Counselor and Head of the Department, Shoma Khanom Ma'am, our Admin Belal Hossain Sir, Advisor Mohammod Sakib Sir, and WIE Advisor Maisha Ma'am, along with respected faculty members. Their insightful and inspiring words encouraged us to uphold the core values of IEEE innovation, collaboration, and lifelong learning in both our academic and professional journeys.

Our Chairperson also shared his personal IEEE journey, reflecting on growth, leadership, and the vital role of networking within the IEEE community. His experiences served as a strong motivation for our members to build meaningful connections and actively contribute to the global IEEE network.

The celebration stood as a heartfelt reminder of the power of unity, knowledge sharing, and technology in shaping a better future. We look forward to achieving more milestones and celebrating many such moments together with IEEE ISTT Student Branch and IEEE ISTT WIE Affinity Group.
