There is extremely poor development in our country’s chemical sector. Other than few multinationals and local companies producing paints, household cleaners, toiletries and some basic chemicals. Major development in the chemical industry in Bangladesh is absent. It is a known fact that the economic backbone of many developed countries in the world today is their highly developed chemical industry.
But in Bangladesh, the basic chemical manufacturing sector had always been neglected. Almost 97% of country’s total requirements of raw materials are imported in both Industrial and Consumer sectors. Just to give an example, the pen manufacturers in the country import Ball Pen Ink, manufacturing this is not a high tech operation. Inspired by the motivation of enriching the country’s poor chemical sector, we first started with high quality formulation products for Textile and Ball pen manufacturing Industries. After 5 years, Chemtrek felt the need to expand their business to consumer sector and hence branched out its consumer products manufacturing wing. The motivation is definitely to capture a sizeable share of the Household and Body Care consumer market, currently enjoyed by few multinationals and local companies. Our journey is to create a positive impact on local and global consumers through our brands, commercial operations and relationships, and voluntary contributions in which we engage with society. With an aim to increase consumer satisfaction and total market coverage we diversified our distribution channel through out the country. Our market and distribution set up works with a view to close with a maximum number of retailers who are near to consumers. Our primary focus has always been to help the country of Bangladesh. By increasing the amount of exports, we can bring in more revenue for the country thus improving our economy. This in turn will create jobs for our people. With a clear view to be a global company Chemtrek Industries BD Ltd and Chemtrek Consumers Ltd will work together by producing number of consumers products in House Hold and Body Care sector. We established our journey by hiring number of hardworking and dynamic professionals in sales and marketing, research and development, admin and supply chain. To increase consumer motivation and satisfaction we develop our research and development, introducing new fast moving products and brads as per consumers needs and choice. In the long run, we hope to place Bangladesh on track as the prominent location for the era of Chemical Manufacturing! We are delighting consumers with world class quality products , developing new and fast moving consumer products which has diversified solutions to everyday needs and problems.
